Elecsurf Computers Elecsurf Ripoff $800 for 4 years old defective notebook computer Internet, Florida
I purchased a HP notebook computer from Elecsurf through Amazon in April. After using it a few month, it stopped working.
I called HP for AS and they asked for a serial number, which the notebook computer simply didn't have. There was only a production number, by which HP identified that it was a four years old model and they do not produce its parts any more. (HP assumes that the notebook computer had problem with the mother board, which cost about $700)
I asked Elecsurf Computers for the serial number both directly and through Amazon. It never responded to my emails. I could not write a negative feedback in Amazon's forum because 90 days had already passed since I bought it.
I asked Amazon to take steps to solve this problem. But it kept saying that they would take appropriate steps but that they would not reveal the results for "privacy". I found a similar case in Amazon's forum but there must be many more people who could not write because more than 90 days had passed.
Never buy anything from Elecsurf and spred this to your friends.
