Electronic Arts Corporation - EA GAMES - EA Video Games EA will not maintain a proper server for Battlefield 1943 (xbox 360) Internet
I have purchased an Xbox 360 arcade game called Battlefield 1943 and the game is an online only multiplayer game. I have a good internet connection and i can play other games just fine with no '"LAG" but Battlefield 1943's servers are hosted by EA and the servers have extreme lag for everyone. Every game i join has severe lag that makes playing impossible and everyone has the same issue. I have seen many people request EA to fix the lag issue but EA refuses to do anything and will not even respond to the gamers who ask about the lag.
Since Battlefield 1943 is an online only game and has no single player (offline gameplay) and the online lags so bad its unplayable... i can't play the game at all and i cannot get a refund at least and they wont fix the lag!
Battlefield Bad Company 2 (a new game that came out recently under the EA banner) also is lagging now too. All of the EA games lag severely online. Me and millions of other people have paid for a game and we paid to play a game that works properly but these games do not work correctly... i think that games should have some sort of warranty. A warranty that promises that we can play the game without lag or something. The game itself is great but EA will not and probably never will fix the lag issue with any of their games, the lag issue on Battlefield 1943 has been going on for over a year now and the service is broken yet they still sell the game and advertise it.
Advertising a broken product is also what they are doing. i highly recommend that no one purchase any EA games especially if they are on Xbox 360 and the game is focused on multiplayer.
I am going to post a few links to threads on the official EA forums from players who are requesting EA to fix the lag. There are many other issues that should be fixed as well like the voice chat system, connection problems, random glitches.
