Elephant insurance stole $235.08 from me! I went online to set up a new policy, and come to find out they no longer offer billing; they only do automatic payments now. Once I found this out, which was about 6 days later, I called and cancelled the policy. whoever I spoke to informed me that I supposedly owed a balance due from a previous policy that I had aboit 1 1/2 years ago, so my remaining balance from my current policy would probably go toward that payment. The balance amount would have been about $80. 

    I told them to do whatever they had to, but to just cancel my policy immediatlet, as I had already opened a new policy with a better company. About 7 days AFTER canceling with them, I have a withdrawl from my account in the amount of $235.08! I called my card issuer and found out who withdrew my funds, and sure enough it was Elephant. I called them immediately, and they refuse to return my money. I explained that my policy has been cancelled for a week, and I fid not authorize and payments to be made, and they did not care. They said they were taking the balance owed from 1 1/2 years ago, and they didn't need to inform me! 

  I am furious, and this is not right! I told them they could bill be, and I'd be happy to look over it and pay it IF I actually do owe them, but they cannot just take my money out of my account without notifying me and getting authorization from me. They still refuse to refund my money!
