Elite City Stays promises luxury in certain major cities such as downtown Miami, Manhattan, New York,

South beach, Miami, Brazil and Sunny Isles, Miami.  Their site www.elitecitystays.com promotes a luxury corporate stay and shows pictures of sunny skies,  pools,  luxury rentals you can purchase for a day or by the month.

They claim you will receive an updated kitchen,  a modern bath, beautiful furnishings all for a low low price of $119 per night or $159 per night depending on whether you select a studio, one bedroom, two bedroom or three bedroom unit.

I thought this sounded too good to be true but I called up a representative by the name of Matthew at the number provided on their site namely (786) 299- 5910 and Matthew assured me he had some availability for October but nothing in South beach and not one unit in downtown Miami.  I told him I owned two pets not one and that my dog was
rather large but he assured me that he had a great unit available at the Intercoastal Yacht club in Sunny Isles.  I seemed worried about the location since I do not drive a car but he basically told me it was a mere two hour walk from Sunny Isles, Florida to South Beach and he would give me the best unit in the condo complex for $3,200.

Matthew is a true scam artist through and through and Elite City Stays is running online fraud.  First of all when I checked my Chase bank account he withdrew close to $4,000 now that to me should have been a major warning and I am foolish because that is when I should have disputed all the charges because when I opened the door to my so --called "luxury penthouse" on October 2 I was deeply disappointed and crushed.

My unit had thrift store furniture (later on Matthew's boss in new york argued it was Cort furniture) and it was hideous.  The carpet was old Berber carpet that looked like office carpeting from the 1980's and the kitchen and bathroom was also from that era.  I can't believe I had spent nearly $4,000 for this crappy place?!  I am not being biased but this place did not look anything like the pictures of stellar elegance promised on their site.

That my friend is what is called internet fraud and rental real estate fraud.  Someone needs to take away their real estate license because I spoke to some rental dwellers and condo owners and they said their rent rate was only $1,400 per month.  You can only imagine how enraged I was and not only that but it seems Matthew was stupid enough to sneak my dog in to my unit and the owner of the property at the Intercoastal Yacht club confronted me one day in the elevator and asked me why I had a huge dog.  He also said a tenant told him about a naked crazy woman riding
the elevator with her huge dog and he asked me if I ride the elevator naked.  I said no if I want to be naked I charge a lot of money for that service.  These people are beyond  belief.

I left after 10 days but first I asked my bank if the charges on my cc card could be reversed.  They told me I need to talk to the merchant so I got a hold of the owner of this scam operation in Manhattan and he yelled at me and said if I hated to be there I should leave by 4pm and he would give me a complete refund.  I called his bluff and made arrangements to stay at a nice hotel in Miami.  As  I was packing Matthew banged on my door and had me come to the property office.  He
demanded my keys back and said if I did not cooperate he could call the police on me .  I told him I wanted to leave but I did not have a vehicle and I also told him the owner in Manhattan, New York gave me his word I would receive a complete refund back.

Matthew called the owner while I sat in his office.  He then wrote me a formal letter stating he would return only $1,600 back into my Chase account and that would have to be it.  He said he had two people who would move me professionally and if I did not comply he could have me arrested.  His so called friends threw my valuables, clothing and glass
in trash bags and I had to wait outside in the rain waiting for a cab because no one wanted to pick up a wet dog and a ton of belongings.  His moving van ploy was a cab driver who felt sorry for me.  Matthew gave me $50 for the move and sent me on my way.

I told Chase bank about this and initially the fought for me but because I made the mistake of staying there for 10 days there was nothing Visa could do for me so I am writing this report hoping that others are aware that it is very very important not to stay anywhere if you are not satisfied with your living conditions.  Their balcony did not even have
screens so anytime I wished to enjoy the breeze insects and other nasty things crawled into my unit.   I do not consider this to be luxury if anything it taught me the harsh lesson that one must never make any rental purchases unless you visit a property first.  Never never allow anyone to charge your credit card anything unless you know what you are
purchasing because I have lost over $2500 due to my lack of foresight.  I thought you could trust people but apparently Elite City stays makes a living off bait and switch and I am going to make a point of letting the general public out there know that elite city stays is not reputable and not luxurious they are simply making a living off people's gullibility.
