Elite Exteriors Failure to follow through on warranty Omaha Nebraska
We had been happy with Elite. We had concerns on small things after installation, and they came out and fixed them last summer. Now we are very unhappy that Elite Exteriors will not honor the statements of its salesmen. We chose Elite over other companies partly because we were told they would come and fix small issues caused by storms etc. that occurred in the first 365 days without charge as a part of their warranty.
A small piece of wood punctured our siding. When we asked Elite to come and fix it for no fee, they initially said they would come out and fix it. Then, we heard today they would be charging us $250 instead of honoring their warranty. The owner said their small print indicated there was no warranty.
PLEASE READ THE SMALL PRINT AND DO NOT BELIEVE ANYTHING THE ELITE EXTERIORS SALESMEN TELL YOU UNLESS IT IS IN WRITING. I know Elite Exteriors has been in Omaha for 25 years, but this lack of follow through on the warranty makes us feel like Elite Exteriors is just another fly by night enterprise not there to back up their promises.
