All that read this nonsense printed by Jared Davis and his carnival folk, Be advised that I had the displeasure of dealing with Elite Roofing and I can tell you the only one that was real and true to his word was Joseph Scozzari when he was in their employ. It did not take Jared Davis and Donny Sanburg long to try to hustle me out of my insurance check once he was out of the picture. They spoke of his arrest and charges being filed for him holding a co worker hostage. No charges were ever filed because there was never a crime committed, no one was held against his or her will. All that did happen is Joe Scozzari was ready to get away from these Charles Manson like weirdo's. Mr. Scozzari was offered a ride by a co worker and Jared called the Police and made up the story with his wife Cami to make it hard on Mr. Scozzari. Mr. Scozzari has since taken legal action against Cami Davis (elite roofing owner) and was awarded the funds they owed him . Collecting may be hard as the fly by nights, are out of business. let me address all of the nonsense written by Jared Davis and his cohorts elite roofing scammers 1. Mr. Bueregard of houston texas asked me as an elite employee to commit fraud by making a fraudulent claim so he could reconstruct his patio that was undamaged from hurricane IKE. I would think this is the "client that elite is talking about that would say i was a "slickster" 2. the claims that i kidnapped or refused to let an employee out of her car is crazy she agreed to take me to the airport and she was taking me there when cami davis called the police to make a false report and when the davis clan found out i had taken all the clients names to call them to let them know the elite crew was operating in a stormchaser con scheme they went balistic and made false accusations. at no time did the employee that was taking me to the airport call the police she sat next to me and pulled the car over in a target parking lot and told me Jared was going to take me to the airport so we waited for him to come there, the sheriffs showed up there and asked some questions and let me leave after they did their interviews. 3. They claim i sexually harrased a woman that was in their employ. that is a total lie infact i was offered sex from that woman if i stayed and helped them rob people, the fact is i was offered by jared and donny whom incidentially is married to a woman and has a family back in arkansaw or michagan to have sex with lisa,as it turns out lisa left her kids behind and ran off sending no support to her ex husband and her kids and infact jared and donny told me how they and another roofer named bret from or in the orleans area had been having sex with her for a while. It was also made clear to me that Jared davis husband of cami davis did give cami davis sexually transmited disease, this was told to me by cami davis who stated she had some sort of cervical cancer form the disease her husband gave her. also cami and jared are currently divorced while cami lives in texas and is from the midland area her ex husband Jared lives out of state and has for years in arkansaw look at his license plates on his car. they are liars and we will see them in court should they decide to show up as i am sueing them for 8800 bucks and thats just what i can prove they owe me 4. the check they sent me has bounced it is marked services rendered yet they didnt even pay me anything they agreed to pay me a 10k sign on bonus and they stole mmy services and tried to turn me into a crooked scammer like themselves. also they talk about immuturity Jred davis smashed my gps unit because he was mad i threatened to call the clients the night i had cops pointing a gun at my head on their fales report. they are classic scam artist right down to the little daughter that was supposedly crying the night i was joking about choking in fact it was jareds idea that i pull the stunt to scare his wife but i never thought for a second it would cause any distress to anyone in the family. now for the record jared davis is being sued by another person he ripped off in springfield MO. he sent for me, he paid my way there, i was not down on my luck I own several companies and i am currantly working in texas. i have sold many jobs and have fulfilled my commitment to all my customers i dont charge for estimates never have never will. I dont ask for money upfront i usually pay for materials before they are delivered to any home. I make over 200k per year and have for the past 15 years i know the business of roofing and general insurance law and regulations i was a convicted felon back in 1977 hell that was a long time ago im 50 now. this is all these creeps can come up with. take it from me these trashy scumbags need there kids taken away from them as they dont have enough food in the house to feed them i had to buy dinner for the whole clan several times during my stay i also bought food for their fridge they are carnival clowns i live and work in Texas now and i found it to be a great area with people that are stand up and i have been able to do work on a handshake with most. Joe Scozzari was used by this company for his credibility and experience. they claim to be a roofing compoany. these people are car salesman trying to bamboozle the homeowners here in Texas. Jared Davis " had a suzuki dealership in springfield Mo.please feel free to call suzuki of springfield Mo. ask for mark hunter for information how they attempted to rip off the owner of the dealership and were run out of town. Jared recruted me from Florida to train his people on roofing products and sales. He promised me 50% of a non existing company. He ripped off insurance companies, when i relized what he was doing. i removed myself from his flim flam organization. As you can plainly see they are all about insulting me, they have no other real data about me to place up on thier post, other than i trained their people to sell and even showed them how to work with insurance companies. they are under investigation for several fraudulent claims as we speak and will be taken out of the picture shortly so rest easy people with damaged homes in texas. Jared Davis has a temper when he does not get what he wants and breaks people's equipment. if you deal with these carnival folk you will be taken . BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE !! To anyone who reads the comments provided by the complaintant, I would ask only that you not believe what you read, without first investigating for yourself the validity of the complaint. If you do this, you will find that not only is Mr. Scozzari a troubled, paranoid and disgruntled former employee, but, his claims about our company are as outrageous as his stories and disrespectful mannerisms. But, because people like Mr. Scozzari are able to make such inflammatory comments without having to prove their claims and because we provide them with a forum to do such, we are forced to defend ourselves from accusations that have absolutely no merit. More importantly though, we do a disservice to the intent of this website, by allowing people such as Joe, to use it as a tool of revenge rather than a forum for justice. I will therefore address each issue raised by Mr. Scozzari point by point and provide reference so readers can investigate for themselves the validity of each allegation. 1. Mr. Scozzari claims that he was ripped off for 5k. Fact: Mr. Scozzari was brought in as a consultant for our expansion into the Commercial Market. Admittedly Mr. Scozzari is very knowledgeable in this area and we agreed to a pay him $1500 wk for his service. Mr. Scozzari, in that week, was provided room and board by Mr. Davis and treated as a member of the family by Mr. Davis, his wife and their kids. During his stay, Mr. Scozzari, was rude, obnoxious, loud, disrespectful and vulgar. His comments, while supposedly made in jest, instead brought about tears from those to which they were directed. His immature behavior was neverending and shocking for a man who's age reflected that of a child rather than a man 49yrs old. It culmanated on his last night at the house, when he thought it would be funny to "pretend" to choke on his food from a allergic reaction to "paprika". A simple cough or two, may have illicited a laugh, but instead Mr. Scozzari, shrieked in fear, caused his face to be red as if he had no oxygen, then dropped violently to the ground holding his throat. As you can imagine, the fear of death, became a instant reality for a 5, 7 & 9 yr old who watch in horror. Jared's wife yelled for someone to "call 911" and the kids cried. After a about 20 seconds, Joe jumped up, as if to say, "Gotcha" and laughed. Mrs. Davis tried to console the kids and stormed out of the room in anger. The last day was our most eventful. My partner and I spent a couple hours at a customers home answering every question that she had thoroughly. Joe became enraged because he believed we were ignoring his calls, but we simply had left our phone in the vehicle and didn't like to be interupted while meeting with a customer. Joe paronoia turned to anger and he made threats against Jared's family, stating his biker buddies "would take care of them." He then forced a co-worker to drive him to the airport. When she became terrified because his erratic behavior, she asked him to get out of her car. He not only refused, but then refused to let her out of the car. He then continued to make threatening calls to Jared's family, Jared and I. Jared's wife was terrified for her family and the co-worker he refused to let get out of the vehicle and called 911. The police responded and surrounded the vehicle. Our co-worker was given the choice of pressing criminal charges against Mr. Scozzari for "unlawful detainment" and Jared's wife had the option of bringing a "terroristic threat" charge against him also. But, both are Class A misdemeanors and the decision was made to just let him go home rather than have him remain in such close proximity. Police reports were filed and charges can still be brought forth if he chooses to continue on this course. You can access the reports as a matter of public record at the Fort Bend Sherriffs office. Please note the female officers description of how fearful the kids were of Joe and how her heart went out for them. Maybe he can tell us why she thought they were so scared when he tries to rebut this letter. I doubt they are as good at acting as he is... While this behavior does not involve work, it does speaks volumes about his irreverant, irresponsible behavior and explains why he reacted in such a childlike manner when he was told his services were no longer needed. As for the 5k, I'm not sure how he derived that amount, as he sold nothing while he was here, helped prepare a couple of estimates and assisted in tarping one roof, yet was paid $1500 for 7 days worth of work, hardly unfair and again, we are able to provide proof of the date of his arrival, (airfare for which we paid the bill) and the date of his termination in service. He wants $5k for 7 days and no sales, I think that you might agree that this is a bit outrageous. 2. His claim that we are storm chasers. Fact: Mr. Davis and his family are residents of Richmond and have been for over 2 years. They have also lived in Texas for most of their adult life, yet, Joe only arrived 7 days ago and for the sole purpose of "making money" from the storm damage and never planned to relocate to this area. Who better fits the definition of "Storm Chaser?" 3. He claims that we "prey on the elderly". This is not only an outright lie, but, it angers me the most. For my kids and family to hear or read such crap is criminal. I've spent my adult life as a coach, a volunteer and voice for those that are underpriviledged. I'm far from perfect and have done many things in my life that I am ashamed of, but, I have never and I would never, take advantage of anyone no matter what their age, color, gender or beliefs may be. I'm a dad, who's trying to make a living and leave behind a legacy that his kids and family would be proud of... Ask the hundreds of kids I've mentored over the years if "respect, honesty and integrity" is not only a demand, but rather a way of life for me. Then ask any of my elderly customers, one of which today praised our decision to terminate Joe's service, stating that her husband that he was very "knowledgeable in roofing, but thought he was a "slickster" and didn't trust his "yankee behavior." You'll have your answer. 4. His claim that we are committing "Insurance fraud." Anyone who know's this business, know's that the insurance companies investigate each claim. I doubt that these adjusters are willing to risk their livelihood by allowing a fraudulent claim to be submitted, much less approved, just to provide a contractor, whom they have never met, a chance to make money on a bogus claim. Again Joe, this is Texas not the New York you describe, where everyone "scratches each others back." Maybe if ya'll would quit scratching each other back and instead do the right thing, we wouldn't have to keep bailing out companies you brag so much about, out of their financial crisis. Finally, while I would like to say that Mr. Scozzari is a "idiot" that know's nothing about roofing, I can't. He is very knowledgeable in this profession. However, while he was here, he tried many times to pressure good people into giving him "good faith" deposits for estimates, "cuz that's how they do it up north." He made lewd and vulgar comments in front of customers and demeaned those who he felt were beneath him, by talking down to them, then dismissing them as "inbreads" because they might not be as well versed in "roofing lingo" as he was or failed to understand in a few minutes, knowledge he has gained through many years of experience. When you meet Joe Scozzari, you'll quickly realize how talented and knowledgeable he is in roofing and how he could be asking for a job. After talking with him a few minutes you'll realize that he is a little man with a oversized ego who has little respect for anyone around him. Then after a few minutes you'll quickly realize why he's unemployed again. By the way, he claims to be heading back to Texas and opening Guppy Watertight and Weatherproofing. Just know that he will be unavailable for the first few days as we proceed with the criminal charges. And Joe, maybe this time you'll be man enough to threaten a man instead of just the women and children. But then again, a MAN would have done that the first time.

Elite Roofing never hired Joe, he was broke and down on his luck so I flew him down and put him up in my house since he was a friend of a friend of my wife's. Joe tried to sell my customers on the idea of fast talking new york yankee way, in fact we let him go after he held one of my employees hostage in a target parking lot until the police surrounded this already convicted felon. unfortunately the state of Texas would only charge him with a class A misdemeanor so we chose to drop the charges to get him out of here. Joe is a con artist that was trying to repeatedly get customers to give him up front cash for an estimate in which our company does not tolerate. we also found out he is going to court in New york this January to testify under oath that a drunk driver hit him and bent his frame on his $3,000 HOME DEPOT TRUCK when in fact the auto shop from his buddy/relative is fraudulant and no such frame damage exist as he still drives it daily. he also sexually harassed my employee over and over. so if any one plans to slander companies on this forum should show there face and take responsibility for there statements as mine are true and correct and I am proud to say jared Davis at Elite Roofing takes care of our customers and does not let scam artist who wont reveal there name work for us..
