Hello, Sorry to hear more of the same stories. I lived in Austin Texas and was taken by Mark Ritacco too. After many excuses he just never showed up to do the roof job. Pushed a closing on my home back and of course cost me extra money. I got an attorney and we filed a formal complaint to him and he did pay back about half of the 1350 I paid him but since has stopped returning calls.
This low life has his primary home address as his moms apartment of south lamar. (((ROR REDACTED))). Her name is Naomi, I went there a few times and he was not there. I hated to bother his mom but I like the rest of the decent people out there did not want to see my money stolen. I know his active phone number is 512-284-5449, The other numbers I have are from the Better business bureau website and they are 512-845-5193 and 512-801-8303, some of companies this guy has worked under also state a guy by the name of Jason Weber. I hope this helps and I will do anything else I can to bust this creep looser.

"many consumers are just hard to deal with even when you do a great job." You said yourself that you stood this consumer up after you got paid upfront to start the job. On the flip side, I can sympathize with the O.P. Trying to find contractors that actually stick to their contracts is like finding a needle in a haystack. Lame excuses like the one you gave seem to be the norm.

It is true that i gave him a refund..i gave him a great deal and when he went with someone else that charged him more... his was trying to charge me the difference after he got his money back... snake snake snake..the only reason i was unable to do his roof is that my crew lead had to go out of town on personal issues and was unable to do my jobs.. i was more than fair to him. Do you people really think that contractors dont get ripped off.. you better get out or your bubble and so the real stories.. many consumers are just hard to deal with even when you do a great job.
