Signed up for a one month membership seeking a man with minimum of a bachelors degree, at least 5'9", non-smoker and within 50 miles of where I live.
First problem was they would not approve my profile because I said my dog chased squirrels and chipmunks. They later flagged it because I said I did not like Donald Trump and was not interested in divisiveness or hate. They finally did remove the flag about my dog but did not remove the flag about Trump.
I noticed in reviewing profiles that someone said that Islam was destroying Christianity. That was not flagged and I found it way more objectionable than what I said. I even reported this to them but they did nothing.
The problem with this site is they are very difficult to reach. You can click on link after link and there's nothng then finally a phone number that is misleading and looks like it's overseas.
So instead of going with my preferences, Elite decides instead to match me with high school graduates, guys that are a minimum of 5'6", smokers and men who live within 300 miles of me. I'm 5'8" and am not interested in men who are 5'6" because that's what they want for me.
I tried to resolve this through PayPal but they rejected this. In the meantime while it was being reviewed, they loaded up my matches with over 200 men and my photoless profile had 44 visits. If you run this through my preferences the actual numbers would be 10% of what Elite Singles actually showed originally, once I complained, the numbers of visitors and matches increased exponentially.
What's the purpose of me having preference if they are just going to give me what they have? The truth is they don't have many matches in my area but rather than say that, they will take my money.
I was only contacted with smiles by two men who never bothered to follow through. I had no other communication with anyone on that site. In fact, I got more interest without my picture than with my picture.
The lack of men in my area, the goofy high school men they are pushing is NOT ELITE, that's not my crowd but that's what they sell and I shouldn't have to pay for that. I think other women should be warned. Elite is NOT ELITE.
