Recently I was shopping for a PWC and came across an add on Oodle.com. The area was limited to my home state and the listed machine was too good to be true. I replied to the add and the following is the response from the "owner".
Hi,
I'm selling it under the market's value because i need liquidity ASAP in order to finish the house i'm building. Here are some pictures of the jet sky.The price will be $2000 with shipping included. It is in excellent condition as you can see in the pictures. It has been regularly maintained. It runs like brand new with no issues. Clear title.
I'm an Air Force Msgt and i have the jet sky here with me. I can deliver it to your shipping address (i will pay for the shipping and insurance fees) and i will agree to let you test and inspect it for 5 days just to be sure. In this 5 days you will test the conditions of the jet sky. If something won't be like you expected to be you can return it without any expense. It will come with all the paper work.
The deal will go through eBay motors and Square Trade. In this way both of us will have the required assurance that the deal will take place well. A refund policy will be included.

Upon checking the IP address of the response I found it to have originated in Romania and did some more research. I found this is a common scam on Ebay and now they are moving to other forms of classified adds.
