On March 21, 2013 I received a phone call from a Mark West for EMBusiness Connections.  After talking for a while about a merchant business and placing credit cards machines into businesses that have been turned down by the banks he talked me into signing up.  I did sign up and he sent a contract by email.  I signed the contract and then was told in a few days I would get a call from someone in the company. 

The next day  I emailed and cancelled the contract as I felt that I could not do it.  He again called asking me why and that this was a great opportunity that they don't get openings in the my area very much.  I kept trying to find out where he got my name from but from the way he talked it was because it was from Chase or Bank of America where I have 2 credit cards from.  He talked me back into agreeing to the agreement. He then said that someone would be calling me to help me with the business. I kept telling him that I did not want to talk to people and that I did not want to go out to businesses to talk to people that I had enough to do.  He assured me that there was a team that would do all of it and that someone be contacting me. He then proceeded to tell me that I needed to get the LLC and that someone would be calling me on that.

 Several days later on April 8, 2013 I received a phone call from Mike Kalmasohn(886-6370379 or 319-774-5780).  He told me that he was with the merchant credit cards and that he would explain how the business is run. He then said I needed to buy the leads.  We talked about goals of how much I would like to be making a month.  He was going to set me up with a team that would help me meet the goals.  He said $6000 for leads.  I informed him that I could not go that high and that $3000 I could do.  He came back with the cost of $4500.  That would be $7.50 per lead that would give me 600 leads.  He then said Anita(866-946-5694) would be calling she would be part of the team.  I kept asking what I needed to do and they said just to make sure I call Anita every 2 weeks.  Which I have talked with Anita several times.

  April 23, I received another phone call.  This one from Business Solutions on Line.  This was from Joe Thomas 646-350-0817.  He was going to help me get my merchant business credit so that it won't affect my personal credit and that I needed a web site that he would set up for my business.  I did indicate that I didn't have a business but he seemed to know that I had paid for leads and that I had put it on one of my credit cards and that so I won't go over the available credit we chose to put it on the one Credit card.  This would be $7,495.00.  This would be for my web site. He said to be patient with him that the money put on my card as soon as the LLC is set up and he would move this charge to the LLC.   I also asked him about the $4500.00 on the other card and the $645.00 from the original charge.  He said it would all be business credit and building the credit for the business. 

Joe also told me that Kristine 813-280-4989 in Oldsmar, Florida would be the web developer and also Cedrik Britton 888-235-3481.  He gave me his number told me if I needed to talk to call anytime with questions.  I have tried calling Joe many times to find out what is going on and it always went to  an answering machine that wasn't set up.  On Friday May 10, after finally getting an answer on the phone number and it not being Joe I realized that the number he gave me was wrong.  He gave me 530 instead of 350.  He had given me a number for a Victor Lastorino(646-350-0822) for the credit modulars and that had the 350.  So I called and I left him a message to call I needed to know what this web site was for and why I needed a web site for the merchant business especially since it was for another merchant business that I did not know. He has yet to call.

Every two weeks I was to call Anita,  the agent support person. The agent support person changed a month later to Ed 866-946-5694.  He would call me back and report about all the businesses on my leads.  None have ever produced any money.  He now has not called for a month now.  I have left messages but no call back.  

I am out of $4500 for the leads, and the initial $645 sign up.  I disputed the $7495 for the web site and the credit modulars  that they said I needed to have with my credit card company and luckily my credit card company won for me.

It is now December, 9months since I answered the phone to this company.  I had been hoping that I did not get scammed and that this would really turn out positive. I have received no money, now my calls are not being returned and have come to the realization that this company just takes your money.  I hope that it can be stopped before any more people get taken like I was.
