I spoke with a EMA represenative today. Looking through my history she could see where I had made my first inquiry and the insurance information was corrected. However, becuase the insurance didn't cover the full amount it was left with collections to get the remainer so I was never infact removed as I had been promised. EMA maintains that since I was initially refered to collectins that I would not received billing from them, only from the collection agency. She said she would do all she could to get my name and account removed from collections but I doubt that anything is going to be done. EMA dropped the ball, they submitted the incorrect information even though they had the correct information; but only me and my credit rating are left to suffer. The collections agency, NCO, claimed to have sent a bill in October, but I seriously doubt it. Do a search for them here and it will speak for it's self.
