I was contacted by David Hanna on June 2, 2008 stating that I had been approved for a loan of $10,000 and that I had 3 options to secure the loan which he explained. The next day he faxed a contract, commitment letter. I read, read and re-read every page. I talked with him again later in the week whereupon he instructed me to go to a store where MoneyGrams were sold, so I went to Wal-Mart which was his suggestion and wired $1510 which was supposed to take care of the first 5 payments and the $10,000 was supposed to be wired into my checking account on Monday by 5 p.m. Well, Monday morning, June 9, rolls around and I receive a call from David Madden who tells me the lender has required, per my contract, another $1500 which I gathered up and wired again. I have all of my paperwork from the 2 wires. On Tuesday, June 10, David Madden called and stated that the lender had backed out and that my case was being referred to the legal department for Emerson Financial Group and I would be hearing from them. He also told me during that same conversation that another lender would be willing to make me a loan of $20,000 but I would have to pay 10 more payments, which I absolutely did not have nor did I have the means to obtain, which I explained to him. He then instructed me my money would be refunded on July 7, 2008. In the meantime, on June 20, I sent a letter overnight to the CEO, but on Monday again I received a call from the USPS stating that there was no such company at this address, so my letter would be coming back to me. Today, June 24, I tried calling Emerson several times but only get a recording that says good-bye, nothing else. I guess I should let you know that on Friday, June 20, 2008, I also filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission against Emerson Financial Group. I am now 2 mortgage payments behind and deeper in debt than I was before I ever heard of this company. I don't want to lose my house. I just have nowhere else to turn.

NO LENDER requires money paid up front for a personal loan ! Do you not know this ??? Your money is long gone to a foreign country, and you have no hope of getting it back. Smarten up, or you'll fall for every scam there is. You're on their list now.
