My wife and I went to EMG autos because they were advertising that they had a Range Rover for sale, therefore I contacted them for more info. I was informed that someone else had already put a deposit on it, but they can find me another. About 30 min later they sent me a picture of another range rover and I asked for the details on it, I then received a call from the Owner Omar Cooper and he explained to me that he had a lot of knowledge about the Range rover and asked me to come to his dealership . We went to the lot a couple of hours after our conversation with hopes of seeing a Range Rover, however there were none on the lot. Omar then proceeded to explain that he can find exactly what we are looking for, and he can find it within a week, but he needed a deposit of $1,000 that would be refunded if he didn't find what we were looking for in a week . We signed off and gave his partner Jerron a $1,000 deposit in good faith. On the following Monday which was exactly a week later. I called Omar and told him that it had been a week, and we would not like to continue the search because we gave him a week, and no results, and we did not want to keep our money tied up in this. When I informed Omar of this he told me that he cannot issue my deposit he can only issue a credit, and I told him that was unacceptable . After days of going back and forth with he told me to come get the money, but once I showed up he was not there, and his partner Jerron began making excuses. Finally Omar sent me a text and told me he doesn't feel he should give me my deposit back. This has been a total waste of time, a total ripoff and total scam. Do not do business with EMG autos they are professional in the beginning, but once they get your money they are very, very, unprofessional. I am in the process of taking this to court right now. STAY AWAY!!!!
