The total quote for my move from eNationwide Van Lines was $5200.90 and I paid 80% because of it being a "water" move. Yes-my goods were over the estimate I gave of 6000 pounds and I attempted to pay for the overage. The error part of this is that C&S Trans. is overcharging me an additional 500 pounds, as confirmed by the SALCO Scale weigh tickets. No one from eNationwide responded to the "how or who" to pay. When they did, it was to say I had to pay the overage plus the remainder of the move to C&S Transportation. The problem I have is paying for something in full when I have no guarantee I am going to get the items. Update: May 14, 2008- a detective from Kent, WA PD states I must file a civil claim. I can not file a report for theft. Also, the physical street address listed on the eNationwide website belongs to Gina Clutcher (or did) and it is an apartment/condominium. Update: A person from the STB is assisting me with getting a reputable mover to assist with getting the goods out of the C&S warehouse and putting them on a boat to HI. Update: MoveRescue can not assist with moves from the mainland to Hawaii, only with moves in the 48 mainland states. Update: Still no further along in the process, but making progress. Filed a claim with the bond agent. It is funny, actually, because they are used to getting calls from transporters, not the individual who shipped the goods! Trying to explain the situation gets me a lot of "I'm so sorry about this"!. I sent my forms in to the insurance company for eNationwide. Hopefully, I will get the full cash dollar amount that I paid them. I will update as new things come along.
