Enhance International ripoff consumer fraud ripoff fraud business rip-off scam liars Atlanta Georgia
I bought a 6 month supply of breast enhancement products (approx.$360.00). The reason I purchased 6 months instead of 3 months was to save money and also, to get the 90 day product satisfaction guarantee.
After 90 days and seeing no improvement with my breast, I called the company for a refund. I was told that the product sent to me wasn't a quality product; however, the new product in stock was much better. I was then asked to try the better product at no-cost. I told Enhance International that I had made up my mind to have surgery instead. I was then told that a credit would be applied to my credit card account.
I later received a letter confirming this. The letter, dated 25 July, 2002 stated that it would take approx. 21-30 days to refund my account. After 30 days and not seeing a credit to my account, I decided to e-mail the company for a status update.
I was told via e-mail that, "due to the prensent economic downturn, and the inability to obtain quality product from our supplier, Enhance International has been forced to cease operations until such time as replacement product has been secured or until Enhance has secured funds to meet its obligation. We have your RMA form on file and we will be happy to honor our guarantee if and when our circumstances change."
I feel that at the time I purchased this product Enhance International was fully aware of their financial situation. Furthermore, I feel that by offering me to try the "quality product" at no-cost was another way to try to delay my refund without informing me of their financial situation.
In addition to receiving a refund, I am also concerned about my health, since the product was not considered a "quality product". Another reason I was attracted to Enhance International was the now false claims made, stating that their product was safe and better than other breast enhancement products i.e., Bloussant Breast Enhancement, etc.
