My vehicle was rear ended and forced into another vehicle on 4-3-12 of this year. After review by the insurance companies and the other party being at 100% at fault I was giving a rental car beginning on 4-9-12. At that time I went to pick up the vehicle at the Rockwell location in OKC. The clerk offered me two vehicles either a Malibu or Impala. I informed them of my concern of the Impala not fitting in the garage, but they assured me it wouldn't be a problem. Reluctantly I accepted the Impala and spent a solid 15-20 min walk through with a female associate (I believe named Jasmine), noting small paint chips, scratches, and one dent on the driver side rear well. She appeared to be writing stuff down on her clipboard, but told me those are small dents and they fit in our circle device so they don't matter. Foolishly I took her word as honest. Needless to say the Impala didn't fit in the garage, but fortunately, weather cooperated and there never was a hailstorm. Fast Forward four weeks later and I was told the insurance would stop paying the rental on 5-3-12. I called the enterprise on Rockwell and asked if I could return the car to the location on Broadway which is near my office. They asked what the car was. I told them an Impala and they told me that's fine and thanks for the rental and heads up. I returned the car the branch on 5-3-12, and upon getting my receipt was told I damage the car. The damage was the same dent i noted on the walk through, which supposedly wasn't recorded. I was told just give us your insurance and we will just file on your deductible. I disputed and have not and will not release my insurance info. Whats more of a shame is the clerk (Herbert), jokingly said it's to bad it happened, you were the last renter of the car as I have orders to pull it from the fleet. He then went on to claim it was a door ding. Somebody should tell the Genius to get a real story a door ding leaves scratches and different paint marks. I asked for the previous rental records for the car but was told the system was slow and to call Damage and Recovery. As I informed Herbert it won't be DRU that gets called, but most likely an attorney. Nobody is going to play games with my time and money.
