I reserved a mid size auto in August of 2012,,, ( they said that way the only auto that they had on the lot) was a 2012 Town and Country from enterprise that had a defect in the rear window,,, I pick up the car on 9/24/2012 and stop for
the night in GA,,, That night it went down to 30 degrees.. I turn on the rear defroster and the window blow up as we were heading north on I-75. This auto had a recall on it for this problem by the auto company BUT Enterprise is trying to collect,,, 3 to 4 emails and cell phone calls a day wanting $650.\.00 in top of the ~$378.57 that I all ready paid I believe that enterprise leases unsafe cars to seniors and when they are damage because of the defect enterprise charges them and get money form the auto company on top of what they can force us seniors to pay.

You evaded my statement that the nighttime temperature in Georgia does not drop below 45 degrees in September. You also evaded Ken's request to post a link that supports your claim that there is a manufacturer's recall concerning damage to the rear window when the defroster and rear heater are on.

You drive down I-75 with your back window blowen out with glass allover the place..Enterprise in Florida would not lease me the auto that I ordered to drive north.... they only had that town and counrty to go north NO others..... The town and country has be recall for having the back window bkow out in cold weather when the defroster and back heater are both trun on!!!

The nighttime temperature in Georgia does not drop below 45 degrees in September.
The recall addresses liftgate problems but does not address a problem with the window.

How was this problem causing a safety problem?

Could you provide a link to this recall, I couldn't find anything on the 2012 T&C.

Are you really saying they lease their problem cars ONLY to seniors...could you also provide a source of this revelation? I'm also a senior and would like to know and file an age discrimination report against them.....IF you can provide proof of your statement...not just my wife's hairdresser's boyfriend told her.
