I talked to dear Amelia again finally today but as usual got no where with her.She was very rude and unwilling to help and very condescending.After feeling like I would get no resolution with her I gathered up the info I had gotten off of the EAA website and started calling to talk to anyone BUT Amelia. Finally I talked to Canda (Customer Service Relations)and Keitha(Office Manager).I explained everything that has happened over the past several weeks and was assured that it would be taken care of.They contacted TRS Recovery and I should no longer have a negative report with them(there system will update within 72 hours, so I will definately be checking) and they will no longer attempt to collect payment on the check I stopped payment on.Both Keitha and Canda were very nice and very apologetic of the entire situation. I made sure to let them know how Amelia had treated me during the whole process and that I knew I would get no where with the situation if I had continued to deal with her. So, keeping fingers crossed that by Thursday when I call TRS their records will be updated and this nightmare will finally be behind me. I am grateful that it seems to be taken care of finally and I would highly recommend that if you happen to get stuck talking to Amelia that you request speaking to Canda or Keitha instead.They have much better customer service skills.
