I recently went to a local home show in Minneapolis, MN and received a "Poker Jackpot" scratchoff and "won" what was supposed to be a "Canon Powershot digital camera". I contacted the call center listed on the card and they told me that in order to receive the prize that i would have to watch a demonstration of an air purification system in home. I thought to myself not a big deal, I would humor them because a Powershot is a nice camera.

The sales rep came to my home this evening and used a very high pressure sales technique in order to sell his product (a $699 air purifier). I eventually got him to pack his stuff up and he agreed to leave and that is when i asked for my prize. He said he would get it from his car and he would be on his way. When he returned from his car he gave me the cheesiest Chinese camera that you could imagine that is sold for $9.99 on ebay. His product was overpriced, their prize is a cheap bait and switch gimmick and over-all this company cannot be trusted. RUN!!!

Just saw the card that you are talking about in a mall.

I looked at the scratch off and back of the card.

Did you see that they have several possible "hands" to win and you have to check with the saleperson.

The camera is next to a certain "hand" but it sounds like you probably said you wanted the camera and they gave you a camera.

The sales person just told me that if you had the hand next to the "camera" on the back of the scratcher, you should have received a BBQ set.

If you want that, id call them and ask for Mr. Adam.

Thats what I was told in Eden Prairie area.

The crew was really nice and the vaccum and filter thing was pretty cool.

Like I said earlier, my mom has had their vaccuum since 1960s and never had a problem with it, EVER!

She paid a couple hundred for it then and hasnt bought another vaccuum in 50 years.

I was given one and cant wait to never buy another vaccuum again. They said its guaranteed.

Theyve been around 80 years so I think im ok with them.

Ciao and good Luck! Call their office and ask for Adam.

I would.

Curious.

My parents have had one of these Filter Queen Vaccuums since 1960.

It still works as well as it did when I was a kid and my mom loves it.

I got one from my friends because their dad had one and he passed away this past year so they didnt need two!

The issue with the camera is probably one you should call the company about.

Dontcha think?
