ES Appraisal Services Appraisers Be Warned! Jacksonville, Florida
I am one of many who have complained against this company. They called last week and had several appraisals in need of completing. I expressed my concern with doing this much work for such a good fee for a customer I have never heard of or done business with. The gentlemen who called was very professional and I accepted the assignments. (BTW - they were paying $450 per report which is good money nowadays for an appraisal in my market.) Anyway I looked at the houses and started to write the reports. but something kept eating at me. I researched this company and found page after page of complaints for non-payment.
I was burned by JVI Appraisal once and refuse to be burned again. I informed one of the numerous folks who called constantly that I needed to be paid up front for the work in order to establish a relationship of some sort. I was told that this was not the way they do business. This morning I contacted by Brian and was called a terrorist for holding the appraisals hostage.
It seems the verbal abuse complaints are as accurate as the ones about non-payment. We work too hard and too many hours to put up with companies like this. I am ashamed that WAMU/Chase have anything to do with them. I plan on calling Chase and complaining about them as well.
