Espresso Italia Ripoff deception, lies, thievery Boynton Beach Florida
Espresso Italia claimed to be a good financial investment for my $13,000.00 which I used to purchase 8 espresso machines. The franchise promised "professional locators" to place the machines to wanting and willing customers. My role was to demonstrate the use and maintenance of the machine, and to distribute the coffee on an "as needed" basis.
I have been through 3 locators in 1 year( one had a "problem with alcohol", one called me a vulgar name, and the other one quit), 9 appointments, and 1 placement. The only machine that was placed sold two boxes of coffee and the machine then leaked and sprayed hot water all over. So much for professional grade equipment and profit margins. Despite multiple phone calls and continued attempts to place the machines myself, seven sit in the original boxes unopened. The company refuses to buy back the machines even at a reduced price. Not only was the company deceptive and misleading, there was no initiative on their part to follow up with me as a distributor. Once they had my money in their hands, I not once got a call from them to check on my progress or satisfaction. I hope anyone considering this marketing "opportunity" donates their money to a deserving organization- it is NOT this one!
