Essential Beauty & Health Now SCAM ALERT! Bait and Switch! Beware of this company! San Diego California
I ordered a 30 day supply of 5.97 of "Skinny Garcinia." When I ordered this product there was no mention of any other products, or any other charges or "trial period" ending in 14 days where I would be charged excessively for the product I was ordering . When I went to check out and pay for the supplement, the system automatically added another supplement called "Skinny Green coffee" for 5.99! I did not want this product nor was there any clue this would be included. This did not show up until I clicked to confirm the payment. By then it was too late. When 14 days had passed I saw that my bank card had been charged 92.97 and 92.99 instead of the offered price of 5.97 and 5.99!! I immediately called the phone number that was listed with the charges on my online bank statement.
I spoke with an Indian sounding man who argued with me that these charges were valid because of the re-occuring shipments I signed up for. I told him I did not sign up for anything like that, nor was it disclosed to me, and that I did not authorize these additional charges. He then proceeded to offer me a discount of 65% off my current charges, if I continued with the supplements. I had to shout at him to get him to stop talking and tell him that I wanted to cancel all further shipments and return these products for a full refund. He refused to refund my money and said there are no returns. He would not let me talk, and would not listen to me. I finally told him I was calling my bank to stop payment, and then filing fraud charges on his company. He finally backed down and said he could not give me a discount, if I cancelled my subscription, but would not send any more shipments.
24 hours later, I still have not recieved his email confirmation that I have indeed cancelled my "subscription" ( a subscription that was not disclosed to me)and that no further charges would be filed. I am filing charges with my bank for fraud and have to pay $35 dollars to stop all further payement to this company. The stress of this has me losing weight all on my own.
