On July 18, 2014, I contracted from 24/7 lifetime guarantee for computer help with ESupport-Live. I was promised if I took out their service at $269.99, I would receive a 7 inch tablet. Time went by and when I contacted the company, I was told there was no such offer. I had been given the run around with numerous calls I made concerning the delivery of my tablet. Finally, after many attempts to get at the truth of the matter, I was told there was not a tablet. So, I told the supervisor that I was deceived and that I wanted a portion of my money back. It was agreed that I get a refund of $150.00 which I have in writing dated August 17, 2014, I would receive a paid via ECheck using Bank Transfer which would be 7 to 10 working days.
On Sunday, October 5th, I called Esupport-Live a computer problem. I was told by a customer service representative that I was not a customer because I had requested a refund. Please note it was agreed upon by the supervisor that I spoke with in August that I would remain a customer. (I believe it was because the company acknowledged their deceptive practice I would continue as a customer.) Needless to say, I was offered an explanation as to why I was no longer a customer and that previous computer assistance and anti-softward they installed (they did not because I purchased an anti-virus software from a computer company where I live) that I was no longer a customer.
I received in writing a welcome letter and confirmation of my payment of $269.99, along with a refund email acknowledging a refund in the amount of $150.00, which of to date (10/7/14), I have not received.
I believe this company on foreign soil, India, has found a way to solicit from United States and Canada, computer assistance only for them to be a scam company. They have unethical professional practices in which they have given themselves American names, to fool the American public in particular.
Futher, I have not received an email from this company informing me that I am no longer a customer because of a refund. (It was never agreed upon that I would cease being a customer and to my knowledge, I was until I called on Oct. 5, 2014.
I have written proof of the following:
*Welcome Letter
*Acknowledgement of payment
*Email informing me of a $150.00 refund which again of this date, I have not received.
Therefore, I would like to put this company on notice for their deceptive professional business practices.
