It took 20 days for my order to be fullfilled; the company had problems with their order fullfillment and Shipping Systems. Big Problems. Emails were exchanged, each time I was led to believe things would be back to normal within a week. The third time was the charm. The shipping costs still upset me - $20 for a small 150 gram item that on its own only costs $18. Throughout this incident, communications were slow, and information was sketchy; I have to admit that I was offered a refund with each email response, but I was "lulled" into waiting "just a few more days". All communication was in slow motion; the company obviously had trouble with the barrage of emails and phone calls once orders began to back up. They did call in the end, but it would have been nice if each email was replied to, either by phone or by email.

It was very frustrated when I began to feel like I was being "strung along", and I wonder if I would have canceled the order and tried out another supplier had I not been "managed". I have to admit that when they communicated they were very friendly and sympathetic. They made me want to give them a chance and in the end they did not totally abuse my trust - I got what I ordered and more.

  Wow, only 20 days?!  I guess you are one of the lucky ones.  I placed an order August 26th 2010 and it is now Sept.28th.  According to my account on their site it is still 'being processed'.
  The Thurs. (2nd) before the Sept. long weekend I recieved and email response from someone named 'BEN'(?), because when i ordered the first time it got here lickity split.  Seems to be the way a lot of these vendors run their business, order something then they don't send the next one the next time?

   (I AM NOT AN AFFILIATE OF SHAMANSGARDEN, THEY ARE BASED IN THE U.S, I LIVE IN CANADA AND THEY EXCELL IN CUSTOMER SERVICE AND QUALITY PRODUCT WHICH I USUALLY GET WITHIN 5 BUSINESS DAYS, YOU CAN CALL THEM DIRECTLY AND SOMEONE WILL ANSWER,IF NOT, THEIR ONLINE LIVE HELP IS ALWAYS AVAILABLE AND HAVE NEVER WAITED MORE THAN A MIN. TO GET A PERSON ON IT!  TAKE A GUESS WHERE MY BIZ GOES THESE DAYS? I SPEND THOUSANDS ON THIS STUFF I GUESS ETHNOGARDEN DOESN'T NEED THE BIZ)

The unprofessional email went as follows(word for word):

Hello,

I am waiting on a new shipment of caapi, it should be in any day now and your order will ship then.

  Isn't this JASON CALLAN's business?  LOL, at least they offered your money back!  How unprofessional and inappropriate of a  response to someone who owes you an amount of 200$ (or more)They have a phoneline as of about two weeks ago that is accepting msgs, but they certainly aren't returning anything in regards to my concerns(I've left a countless number of them), and at this point I am deeply concerned.
  My money hasn't been refunded, No call backs, just an idiotic email from a so called 'business man'.
  Today I sent an email giving them a few options(asides from the options I left already on the phone, namely,"send the stuff" or "refund my money") before I officially file a report with the Ontario BBB (Better Business Bureau) this Fri. Oct.1st.
  What's utterly baffling is that I order most of my product from either the U.S. or the Netherlands which all has to clear Canadian Customs and it always does(as well as getting here within a week). ETHNOGARDEN BOTANICAL IS A BUSINESS IN MY OWN COUNTRY IN THE PROVINCE RIGHT NEXT TO MINE, SO YOU'D THINK THERE WOULDN'T BE A HASSLE...WELL...I STILL HAVEN'T HEARD ANYTHING ABOUT MY ORDER NOR HAVE I RECEIVED IT!!!!!!!!
  I've only recently heard of Ethnogarden, around when I placed my first order(a week prior to the one I'm complaining about now), I was excited at first finding a vendor right next door to me in my own Country...but apparently it doesn't mean squat...!

                                                Severely(not sincerely) PI**ED OFF!

P.S - If I haven't heard from them by Friday I will not be doing a response or rebuttal again, it will be a full report on them through this site and a couple others.  Thanx for reading...
