We hired Internic Moving services in May: from the very beginning, the ripoff begun. They first charged more than we allowed on our credit card, then did'nt give us the full service we asked for: the movers arrived on a saturday morning with nothing to wrap our stuff: we spent the whole day trying to gather boxes ans newspapers to get the work done and we had to work the complete day with the movers. Internic not only refused to admitt its mistake, but they charged us twice the amount of money we had agreed on in the contract... for a service we didn't even get!!! Then, he added (manually) some new clauses to an already signed contract and tried to make us give him even more money. Then, they kept our stuff, forcing us to pay another extra-money in order to get it back. We only got our things the next day, after having lost an entire day waiting for them. That wasn't over: we discovered many broken things (of cours, they had been wraped in newspapers and put in wine boxes!) and Jaques Monier refuses to initiate a reclamation! Two of our boxes are missing, and a very valuable watch (rolex) has disappeared... Moreover, after all the illegal charges were put on our credit card, he asked for more, pretending that he hadn't been payed... while we had been charged! We are of course suing them for several reasons: fraud, contract falsification, extorsion, robbery and threats. We are looking for similar stories and for people who were ripped off by this company, in order to built a collective case against this criminal company and its owner.

I am currently preparing a move to France and I was impressed with the prices of this company. So far they have been quick to get back to me with my questions but I always feel like there's something missing. What could you suggest to avoid having extra charges on their end? We're dropping our stuff off and picking them up on the other side by ourselves to avoid any packing/moving charges.
Thanks
