I have just been ripped off by Ticketsmyway.com.

I bought 2 tickets to the Feb 16, 2008 My Fair Lady in Boston production in Boston on dec 5, 2007. I paid $465 which was promptly accepted. In late January I recieved a voice mail confirmation that my very expensive tickets would be shipped in late Jan or early Feb. A week before the event I have no tickets. I check the status on their website to find out that they are refunding my money and my order is cancelled.

I call their toll free number, wait on hold for 30 minutes and get put to voice mail. I leave a voice mail that is not returned. Repeat the process a couple of times.

Why didn't I get the tickets? It is a HOT show and the prime seats that I bought in good faith 2 months ago are now selling for a lot more. They absoulutely cheated me.

They cheated me by taking my money 2 months ago and promising to deliver tickets, only at the last minute to cancel the transaction. The tickets that I bought were prime seats and I paid what they asked for at the time. Cancelling at the last minute, even though they refunded my money, leaves me with no tickets and a VERY disappointed girl friend. I also have made airline, hotel arrangements, etc. based on this event. My guess is that they realized that they could get more money for these tickets than they sold them to me for. Wouldn't you feel cheated?

IF they actually DO refund your money, how did they cheat you? this is what it said on their web sight. Maybe it has something to do with that. The rain in Spain stays mainly in the plain, but My Fair Lady only stays in Boston for three weeks, so call Ticketmaster or The Wang box office today. It also said that the tickets they ahd were for February 17, maybe the 16th one was canceled.
