On February 2,2010 i received a phone call from William Harmon of Evercore Financial Solutions stating that i was preapproved for a loan of $5000.00.  When i called them back he said that if i paid the first five months of payments i would receive my money.  On February 3, 2010 i received a fax from them with all the paperwork for the loan.  I filled it out and faxed it back to them.  I told him I would try and get the money together for the payments (i would not have to make another payment until August 3rd) and he said that would be ok.  On February 12,2010 I went to  Price Chopper and called Wiliam Harmon and told him I was about to send the money via Western Union.  He stayed on the phone with me and told me how to fill out the paperwork and i sent it supposedly to a bank in Canada.  He then told me i would have my money on Tuesday the 16th since monday was a holiday.  i thought that sounds ok.This money was sent to Shawn Rayhan in North York, Ontario Canada, money control number 896582751.  it all seemed legal.  A couple of days later I received a call from Michael Finely and he said i needed to send 1000.00 more because the bank wouldn't release the funds without insurance on the loan because of my credit.  I said if i had that kind of money what would i need the loan for?  he then said he would call the bank and see what they could do.  he called me later and said they would accept 500.00 for the insurance.  i said i didn't have the money that day but i would try and put it together.  Well it is 2/26/10 and i would have had my money today and i tryed to call them to see if they were open today and i got a "I'm sorry this phone number has been disconnected or is no longer in service"  i then went to the internet and saw where several others have gone through the same thing with Evercore Financial Solution and i am writing to you.  I just want my 735.00 dollars back plus the cost of Western Union of 66.00 for a total of 801.00.  These people also should pay for making promises and scamming people out of their hard earned money.  it all seemed so legal because i still have all my paperwork to prove it.  Let's make them pay for this.

ok..i have posted several times here about evercore and their fraudulent activities. I too was taken for a ride by them.  I learned that they are a scam company...using contacts out of Canada for the wire tranfers..Detroit...is the phone number that Mr Finley gave you is out of...and I learned that Evercore solutions website domain is based out of Jamaicia. 

The ability to get our money back is questionable...however justice is not if we are persistant.  I personally contacted the BBB (See Evercore's report and grade on there..I was the one that filed a grievance with the BBB), I also contacted Bangor Maines' town officials, town attorney, their attorney General, all of their alderman, and their Chamber of Commerce..I did this since the company was supposedly out of Bangor Maine. I also contacted every newspaper and tv station that reports on that area and actually had a reporter help me as well.  They found out that the address Evercore gave, that evercore isn't in that building at all.  They also contacted and directed me to the FBI, THe FTC (Federal Trade Comission).  I filed reports with them as well...and let the FBI know what the reporter learned about the Canadian and Jamacaian connections. I also contacted the Canadian ministries...the mounted police as well as the Jamacaiain authorities, and several U.S. government contact out of Florida that are Jamaicain-U.S. officials.  I was also able to get in touch with the Telephone provider of the 1-888# evercore uses and they emailed me back and stated that they disconnected the numbers.  However I'd bet that they have more than one toll free #.

Point is that....do what I did...let your voice be heard...contact everyone I have and anyone else you can think of.  The more voices that complain and speak up to thoise with the power to do something...the better the chances are that something will be done. 

I can forward or post all the contacts/contact info I have for the above authorities.  Start with the Bostson division of the FBI and the FTC and file a report...as well as the BBB.  Don't take this lying down.

Dont be afraid to contact the media as well.  They were VERY HLEPFUL to me and will be to you as well.  The more people that contact them with this story..the more that it will come out and be heard.
