I am an entrepreneur who purchased data services from Exact Data and I am very unsatisfied with the product, service, and overall experience with the company. I bought an email list from sales representative Dan Duggan for $1500, expecting to get great value for my startup business. This purchase equated to a list of 15,000 supposedly accurate, targeted emails. As a reasonable person, I expected a few of these emails to be non-functioning, but after doing my research through a 3rd party email scrubber, I discovered that only 12,000 of the emails were active addresses.

A 20% failure rate is unacceptable and refutes what your company claims to be all about: highly targeted marketing leads. A statistic like this shows that you are flat out lying to your customers. Throughout the whole process, Mr. Duggan was unresponsive, poor at communicating, and lacking in information. His habit of making promises he couldn’t keep is a poor business practice. I also worked with another individual, Dijana Jasarevic, a customer service representative, who failed to communicate that I needed to approve a message in the portal, an essential step in the process. Between the poor customer service, inaccurate data, and lack of communication, I am very dissatisfied with Exact Data and will be sharing my experience with friends and coworkers who would consider using products or services provided by this company.
