Exceptional Exteriors LLC Ripoff insurance claim money Englewood Colorado
At first Exceptional Exteriors LLC agrees to back out the charge for the work that they do not perform. Exceptional Exteriors LLC is a property restoration company that repairs damage that was caused by a hail storm. They promised on the contract, email, and verbally to credit the insurance claim money back to me for not replacing the garage door, shed, repairing the fence, deck, window well cover and removing the sattlite dish. They said that this amount will "go back to me". The company started the work on my property on January 2015 and completed the roof, siding, and gutters. On April 2015, I received a final invoice. I was shocked to see that the company did not credit any of the charges for the work that they did not perform. I sent them an itemized list of the work they did not perform and asked them to credit the amount owed. They informed me that they did not charge me for those structures and that I would have to contact my insurance company for the "last estimate." I hired an attorney and he said that the company that did the work can charge the customer as much as they desire for any work that they completed. In conclusion, my garage door and shed were not replaced and the company is literally charging me as if they replaced the structures. My insurance company issued to me a total amount of $12,747.06. The company scope of work performed total amount is $10,090.24. The company is charging me a total amount of $12,827.69 for the work that they performed. The company should have credited back to me a total amount of $2,775.44. They refuse to credit the amount that I am asking, the work was not performed and they are allowed to charge as much as they wish for any work that was performed.

Kim S. also tried to submit this complaint to the BBB. Luckily the BBB researches all the facts in complaints and dismissed this complaint as completely baseless. Kim spent her insurance money, refused to meet with us seven times and had her phone disconnected so we had no way to contact her. Currently she is in collections. We even requested an arbitration meeting with Kim S. and she refused. If there was any validity to this complaint you would see it reflected on the BBB website.
