The biggest problem This company has/had was a total lack of communication. Until I posted this review, and also all but yelled at my "recruiter", I had not received one e-mail that was personable, nor on track for what I was searching for, nor in the area I was searching.
However, once I did these things they actually started to talk with me and things have gotten better. I very much do not appreciate being called a "hard case", or someone to take pity upon, but I will chalk that up to them just trying to defend themselves.
Also, while I would love to stay local to where I presently live, I did mention I was open for almost anything on the east coast (But Northeast preferred). That message was never received or read or remembered. Again, now that my recruiter actually corresponds with me, it seems we're on a better , more-level playing field.
As I said in my e-mail to my recruiter, I'm all for second chances. It would have been better for this company to own up to their mistakes, rather than make excuses for not actually dealing with me for three weeks, and see how their lack off communication made the beast that is this report, but, again, I'll chalk it up to feeling like they have to defend themselves.

The job seeker that posted up this complaint is an out-of-work customer service manager. This is a field that is experiencing a severe contraction. The availability of customer service managers far exceeds the demand for them. We took this particular customer service manager on as a hardship case which proves difficult because he asks that we limit our search to Scranton PA. Anyone want hazard a guess as to what the job market is like in Scranton? Furthermore he is circulating a resume that looked like it was written by a kid brother or sister. We select three or four hardship cases per month. We do not dwell very much on the challenge. We put you through the same paces that we put senior executives through. You are assessed via telephone by an associate of the firm to determine your dedication level to your job search (we do not find candidates "dream" jobs) We never refer to you as a great candidate but we will tell you so if we believe or question your motives. i.e. we do not consider a bad day one the job, being mad at the boss, or feuding with one's spouse sound basis for seeking work through our search service. If unemployed we may also ask what kind of "less significant" work you might be willing perform while you wait for a job to open up in your field, such as office floater or administrative assistant. This candidate indicated to us that he might be open to this option but evidently not. Before he uses such words as hoax or scam he could have mentioned that WE DID NOT ASK HIM FOR ONE RED CENT in fees. We were going to finance his job search with finder's fees we collect for referring senior executives (hence the name Expert Executive Recruiters) We do not have an impressive web presence because our work is not site specific. We have a relationship with a resume writing service that charges a flat rate of $169.95. We like them because they keep their costs down, do not tack on any extra fees and believe it they are not getting rich off of the fees they charge nor are they enriching us. We will not back down from taking on the oocaisonal hardship case - they are usually very content with us - but like the rebuttal says "theres always one".
