recently i bought some computer memory from a seller on ebay ( extremeram). i had bought from extremeram in the past and trusted that he would be a professional since he was a powerseller. after recieving the memory it didnt work at all. i sent message to extremeram asking for an exchange and told him i would return the next day. he sent nasty message back refusing to exchange or refund money even though there was a return policy. his message was...and this is the actual copy of one of many nasty vulgar messages recieved....

You keep barking like a b***h motherf***er. Now i have the ram and your f***ing money. Ebay wont do anything, im a powerseller.

Dear xtremeram,

are you going to refund my money or not...you have had plenty of time "testing the ram" as your emails have stated....if you are not going to refund the money, at least send me more ram....

i was shocked and immediately filed a report with ebay and paypal, which by the way did nothing. ebay protects its powersellers no matter how many bad feedbacks they get. i found that out after posting a bad feedback and seeing many others doing the same, but no change in the sellers feedback score. this seller is by far the worst seller on ebay and greets many who ask for exchange or refund with horrible messages. but these messages are worse and more vulgarthan this one, so i will not post those here. but i will post other feedbacks left from recent buyers...

1. BEWARE! Unbranded memory chips. Had to file Paypal claim for return refund!

2.sent wrong ram twice.didnt have what's advertised.got at newegg for same price.

3.the product does not work on my computer, this defective, seller refuses refund

4.it took 2 mean emails just to get him to respond to the whereabouts of my refund

5.paypal claim filed, ebay filed claim, seller is crook beware

this is just a few of the many bad feedbacks with this so-called powerseller. but ebay protects him because he makes them so much money. i guess the many bad feedbacks mean nothing when you are making alot of money for ebay. the seller is a crook no doubt but ebay backs this kind of business and condones it simply because of the money. i will tell you all beware of this seller. he is a complete ripoff and will sell you junk.

I received a refund from extremeram

In October, 2010 I purchased RAM from Extremeram. I ordered the wrong memory (it was high-density, needed low-density). I returned the memory using their return form.

I did not hear from them for several weeks, then sent a message to them requesting my refund for the item via ebay. In the message I mentioned that if I didn't receive the refund in 10 business days, I would post here and neg. review on eBay.

Received a message the next day saying a check would go out the next day.

I received a check from them within three days. I can't say if the threat to post here and/or neg. review on Ebay had any impact but I *did* get my money back. I believe I would do business with them again.
