I am a former employee of Fall Creek Security when I first started working with this company I was told I was going to be working 8 hour nights Monday trough Saturday 40 hour weeks for $450 a week and they would hold a week back . I then found my self working 60 hours a week for the same pay . After my second week working with them I received my first paycheck witch was for only $350 after that I spoke with the west Texas supervisor Tad Tailor and asked him how many people he had trained for the patrol officer position he stated he had trained about 15 employees for that position in a 6 month period and all quit. so after working 60 hours for that amount of money I decided to turn in my uniform on a Wednesday and tell him I quit. So I received a check for tha last 3 day's that I worked for the amount of $ 150 when I put in 30 hours those last 3 days.

I then went to his office to let him know he still owed me for one week that was held back when I first started and all he could say was that he did not owe me anithing that if I did not leave the premises he would arrest me that I had no way of proving that he did not pay me .

And for those of you looking to hire security with this company they claim they will check up "make two to three rounds"

Per night and leave a tag on the door of the business they are patrolling trough one of those rounds, so that the business owner knows or thinks that a security officer was checking on their business trough out the night. but the truth is that they only go to your business once a Night to leave a tag on your door saying that your business was secure so that your under the impression that a patrol officer with this company (fall creek security ) was checking up on your business trough out the night.

I really have to wonder who you are and what kind of person would defend a company that I myself have dealt with, not on an employee level but as a homeowner in an HOA that employed these people as our security. Since then we have had nothing but complaint after complaint from responsible homeowners who have lived here many years without incident and now have thousands of dollars in fines. When you ask them why you were fined, they respond with if you dont like it move. Or we dont have to have a complaint, we will fine you anytime we feel like it. Guess what? I am not going anywhere. I have to wonder about what kind of person could read these complaints and defend such bullying and such a dishonest company. Are you family? Whoever you are, I dont think I would want to know or trust anyone that feels these people are justified in what they do. Read my complaint titled Harrassment with extreme predjudice and tell me how you can defend that. Are you really Sandy, a real person or are you planted here to make excuses for a kangaroo security company. Hmmmm.......

I would love to hear from anyone who has any info on what happened in Midland Texas. This so called security company has been hired in our HOA and is harrassing homeowners and bullying people. Tad Taylor is more interested in catching homeowners in anything or making up reasons to fine them while we have had more than 50 break ins in our community since they have been here. I will not give your name if you so choose. i would just like to hear what happened in Midland to see if it fits the pattern I am beginning to see here. I own my home and I am in fear that something bad is going to result from them being here. Nobody feels safe when a bully carries a gun and has to be told by the sherriffs department he cannot wear it in a convenience store. You can read my complaint on here titled harassment with extreme predjudice. We need your help. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Unfortunately we dont have an honest, fair board to rectify this situation so we have started using other resourses. Thank you and I hope to hear from you.

Hearne and Taylor are scum of the earth. They dont know how to tell the truth. I think they have lied so long they believe their own lies. I am having problems as a homeowner of an association which they provide security, or are supposed to. It seems to me they are more interested in harrassing the homeowners and writing unjustified tickets. I have never seen such petty and unhappy grown men in my life. They act like children. They will not just say, we may have made a mistake, or our employee may have been wrong. i am sure they make their employees extremely miserable. I cannot imagine working for either of them. Terrible thought. If you have any info you would be willing to share with me I would love to hear it. I can discuss it here, via email or by phone. Just let me know. Thank you so much!!

A company does not pay with personal checks that cannot be cashed before 3pm, and no taxes are taken out, yet you report taxes. A company does not work people over 40 hours, then claim their overtime was not overtime, because they were working for Heron Security, ofcourse this not to the knowledge of the employee. A reputable company does not employ a sex Offender, nor people who have criminal records,nor hire someone who has had 4 DWI's, has had their license suspended and is being indicted by a grand Jury  for being married to an underage female.

Our company has spoken with 11 different people, all have the same story, but they have never met each other,some are former employees, some former clients.Simply put, Ed Hearn, and Tad Taylor are the scum of the earth, one has a criminal record,look it up, it is public record.

The best defense against defamation is the truth, I challenge Ed Hearn and Tad Taylor to finally TELL THE TRUTH.

Do you know how many people will come forward telling the same story of you calling them up, saying they drove too much, their services are not needed.....It is beyond me why you have not gotten a class action suit, but hopefully this site, and peoples input will inspire a lawyer to look in to it.

Again, the best defense against defamation is the truth,finally, Ed Hearn and Tad Taylor, tell the truth

In business as Fall Creek Security for 30 years, never missed a payroll or bounced a paycheck.  Never fined  by Texas DPS for failing to meet any requirements imposed on security companies.

If employee failed to report to work he would not be paid for that shift.  If he was hired for patrol and could or would not perform the fairly easy requirements of patrol, he was moved to a lower paying post.  He did not meet the requirements if he went home after only 3 hours, slept in the car most of the night or sat in the garage and wrote up fake reports.  If he was filling his own car and girlfriend's car with the patrol car credit card, he was stealing.  If customers were not getting what they paid for, he certainly should know.

If employee did not receive last check it was because he did not return equipment and uniforms, or deliberately damaged patrol vehicle, such as breaking windows, pouring water in gas tank, slicing tires (over ten tires replaced in six months due to vandalism to owner's and patrol cars), or threatening Tad Taylor with a knife after he was fired for failing to show up for work (police reports on file for all of these). 

A week is NOT held back - payroll period ends on Sunday and is paid the next Friday; the dates are on your stub, if you can read.  You can see the problem - Mondy through Saturday, 8 hrs per night is not 40 hours per week.  You also cannot multiply.  Nobody except the owner and supervisor EVER worked 60 hours in one week!  Tad usually worked 80 or more.

Midland has GREAT opportunities for security because there is a huge amount of vandalism, but unemployment is only 4%, so those who want to work have jobs elsewhere and the few who meed minimum state requirements for security are only trying to extend unemployment benefits or see how long they can get paid for NOT doing their job.  Every company that hired us had 2 to 44 openings they could not fill either.

No wonder Fall Creek and other long standing security companies in Midland have bad reputations.  It is hard for just two people, Tad Taylor (Supervisor) and Ed Hearne (owner) to cover 8 posts simultaneously because all the other employees refused to work on the week-end or on previously assigned schedule.  Fall Creek paid $9 to $10 per hour, much more than the other security companies.  Did not help.

New Owner - you will find out soon enough!  Bye Bye Midland!

You said someone was a coward for not using their real name, neither did you, so give it a rest, and stop blaming the nice people of Midland for the fact that you were run out of town.

As an Employee of the company that took over your accounts,I can tell you for a fact, that Fall Creek Security has the worst reputation, and not from Patrol Officers or other employees, but from Tad Taylor and Ed Hearn.The stories we have heard from your clients is shocking, funny how better than everyone else you pretend to be.You are clearly not living in reality.

I am sure past,present, and future clients would love to see how you spoke of Midland and would love to see how you finally admitted you did not provide the contractual security you promised.

Why ex-employees chose to lie to make themselves feel better about their substandard performance that they were rightfully fired for is quite entertaining.  

I see this person was too cowardly to even provide a name so I am not able to get into the specifics of why this particular individual was fired, but if they were one of our many patrol personnel that we ran through while doing business in Midland, they were fired for not doing their job.  Maybe it was one of the people that were incapable of following simple instructions and driving a preplanned route of the accounts on the patrol beat.  Maybe it was the person that drove 300 miles a night in circles around the city rather than doing their assigned task of simply driving by the accounts and doing their job.  Maybe it was the person that chose to sleep in front of the cameras at one of our accounts.  Maybe it was one of several former employees that chose to act like children and vandalize our property instead of being mature and responsible enough to handle a relatively simple job and accept input from their supervisor as to where they were failing in performing their assigned duties.  Maybe it was the former employee that decided going out to party with his friends was far more important than doing the job they agreed to do when they were hired.  Maybe you were the former employer that decided to illegally use the provided company credit card to buy gas for your personal vehicle.  I dunno.  Midland is full of some of the most irresponsible and immature people it has ever been my unfortunate pleasure to try and manage.    

Yes, we had nights where the promised coverage was not performed, but that was do to the inability of people like this to be mature and responsible enough to do their job and instead provide an endless litany of excuses of why they were incapable of getting in a car, driving to designated locations and checking the accounts.  As I said, it was an easy job with everything lined out for them on a step by step basis like you would do for a third grader and most of the people we hired were incapable of following these very basic instructions.  

So if you were not paid, it is because you did not work your assigned hours.  If you worked past your assigned hours on the patrol, it was because you were incapable of following simple instructions given to you after being trained on what to do.  Don't feel bad, you have a lot of company out there in Midland of other useless individuals incapable of following simple instructions and performing their job.

THIS IS WHAT YOU ALWAYS HEAR WHEN YOU COME TO WORK FOR ANY PRIVATE SECURITY PATROL SERVICE OR EVEN AS A STANDING GUARD IN THE METROPLEX.  THOSE COMPANIES PAY EVERY TWO WEEKS AND THEY ALMOST ALWAYS HOLD THE FIRST WEEK BACK FOR SOME STRANGE REASON

NONE OF THEM LIKE TO PAY OVERTIME EITHER.

I THINK THIS TAYLOR GUY IS HOPING THAT YOU WILL BE SO EXCITED AND HAPPY TO BE WEARING THE POLYESTER CHEAP THAT YOU WILL PAY THEM TO WORK FOR THEM..

THERE IS A POPULAR WAY TO TRY TO NOT PAY YOU OVERTIME --TO CLAIM TO THE WAGES & HOURS AND OTHER GOVERNMENTAL AGENCIES THAT OVERSEE WORKERS' RATES OF PAY THAT YOU ARE A SUPERVISOR AND THEY DO NOT HAVE TO PAY YOU OVERTIME.

HOW DOES JUST SOME GUY WHO WANDERS IN OFF OF THE STREET WITH NO PRIOR SECURITY  GUARD OR PATROL EXPERIENCE SUDDENLY BECOME A SUPERVISOR?

AND HE GAVE YOU NOTHING IN WRITING?

NO EMPLOYEE HANDBOOK?

NO JOB DESCRIPTION WITH YOUR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES SPELLED OUT CLEARLY FOR YOU?

AND HE DID NOT TRANSFER YOUR UNARMED GUARD CARD OR COMMISSION CARD THAT YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO HAVE IF YOU ARE ARMED?

AND WHAT KIND OF GUY SENDS A  PRIVATE SECURITY PATROL OFFICER OUT THERE UNARMED THESE DAYS?

DID YOU EVEN HAVE A GUARD CARD?

YOU ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO WORK FOR A PRIVATE SECURITY COMPANY IN TEXAS UNLESS YOUR APPLICATION HAS BEEN REVIEWED BY THE BUREAU AND THAT USED TO INCLUDE SUBMITTING FINGERPRINTS TO DPS AND GETTING A COMPLETE CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK FROM THEM ALSO WHICH COSTS $20, OR AT LEAST IT DID THREE YEARS AGO.

THERE USED TO BE A THREE-DAY COMMISSION TRAINING CLASS ON HOW TO USE A FIRE ARM AND THE TEXAS PENAL CODE THAT RELATES TO COMMISSIONED SECURITY GUARDS AND MAYBE SOME FIRST AID BASICS. GET YOUR COMMISSION CLASS IF YOU ARE SERIOUS ABOUT REMAINING IN THIS BUSINESS.

I THINK THEY OWE YOU SOME OVERTIME.

IF THEY WERE TAKING FICA OUT OF YOUR CHECK, YOU NEED TO CALL SOCIAL SECURITY ADMINISTRATION AND MAKE SURE THEY WERE PAYING IN TO THEM WHAT THEY WERE TAKING OUT OF YOUR CHECK. WHEN YOU GET TO BE MY AGE, YOU ARE GOING TO NEED THAT MONEY!

YOU NEED TO CALL  THE WAGES AND HOURS ( NUMBER LISTED UNDER FEDERAL GOVERNMENT AGENCIES) AND TELL THEM WHAT THAT GUY DID TO YOU. I KNOW THAT YOU HAVE AN OFFICE THERE IN DALLAS AND THEY WERE REALLY GOOD WHEN I USED TO REPORT SECURITY COMPANY  EMPLOYERS FOR EXACTLY THIS SAME SORT OF THING.

YOU SHOULD ALSO CALL THE PAYDAY LAW AT THE TEXAS WORKSOURCE  OR THE TEXAS EMPLOYMENT COMMISSION AND TELL YOU ABOUT THE MONEY THIS GUY STILL OWES YOU AND IF THEY DON'T PAY YOU, THE STATE WILL FREEZE ALL ASSETS UNTIL HE DOES. AND I DON'T THINK THE OWNERS ARE GOING TO BE TO HAPPY WITH THIS GUY THAT HE BROUGHT ALL THIS HELL DOWN ON THEIR COMPANY.

TAD TAYLOR DOES NOT OWN THIS COMPANY!

I LOOKED UP THE COMPANY ON THE INTERNET ON THE TEXAS BUREAU OF PRIVATE SECURITY SITE AND I FOUND OUT THAT THE FALL CREEK SECURITY IS  REGISTERED WITH THE BUREAU.

THERE ARE TWO MEN WITH THE SAME SURNAME WHO APPEAR TO BE THE OWNERS OF THIS SECURITY COMPANY AND HAVE BEEN IN PRIVATE SECURITY SINCE AT LEAST THE MID-1980S AND HAVE VERY GOOD RECORDS AS YOU CAN SEE WHEN YOU LOOK THEM UP ON THE DPS PRIVATE SECURITY BUREAU WEB SITE.

HAVE YOU SEEN EITHER ONE OF THEM MINDING THE STORE?

MAYBE THEY NEED TO BE --AND MAYBE  THEY NEED TO CHECK THEIR  FINANCIAL BOOKS!

 THEY PROBABLY HAVE NO CLUE THAT THIS TAYLOR  GUY ALLEGEDLY  PROMISES YOU $450, PAYS YOU $350 --WHERE DID THAT $100 GO AND WHERE DID THAT $159 THAT HE SAID HE WOULD PAY YOU  GO?

I DID NOT SEE A TED TAILOR LISTED WITH THEM BUT I DID SEE A TAD TAYLOR.
MR. TAYLOR IS BOTH A LICENSED SALES PERSON WHICH MEANS HE CAN SELL SECURITY GUARD SERVICES TO CLIENTS AND HE IS A COMMISSIONED SECURITY OFFICER.

IF HE IS WORKING IN THE OFFICE AND DOING HIRING AND FIRING. HE NEEDS ANOTHER KIND OF  COMMISSION FROM THE BUREAU TO BE AN OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR. MAYBE YOU CAN CALL THE STATE BUREAU AND ASK ABOUT THAT.

HE DIDN'T GET THE SECURITY SALESPERSON COMMISSION UNTIL 2009, ACCORDING TO BUREAU ONLINE RECORDS..

HE WAS SUPPOSED TO GIVE YOU A PIECE OF PAPER THAT HAD YOUR JOB DESCRIPTION, YOUR EMPLOYEE HANDBOOK AND YOUR SCHEDULE. YOU HAVE TO HAVE SOMETHING TO PROVE THAT YOU WORKED THERE.

and do a company search and see if your name shows up on the list of current employees,print out the entire company roster and there is your proof.

There are also instructions there on how to file a complaint but you do not want to get implicated in any of the things that you claim that this Taylor person has allegedly done and filing a false report telling a client that the representative of the company has performed a contractual  duty when he has not, in fact, done what they said they would in the contract means their security contract can be voided for non-performance and fraudulent misrepresentation.

That is a civil action. Maybe criminal too.
