It appears that you are shopping in a store that has a few problems. They seem to be in the middle of a planogram reset, where they discount old merchandise and recieve new items. They may also have new employees, including an untrained manager. If they did not know any better , they may have stocked new merchandise in with the old stuff. Sometimes we may not be able to recognize the new items as such until we get the time to finish resets. If it arrives in a repack or a tote it isn't marked as "new" and they may have thought it was just a new package design. There simply isn't enough hours in a day for a store to be "perfect" ,we don't have the payroll, employees etc. You kill yourself just to get the merchandise out there.(this is no exageration, someone needs to do a study on what percent of employees have had heart attacks etc) The response from them should have been more along the lines of " I am sorry for the confusion, let me check this for you." The items that are marked down are ones we have carried for at least a year, which leads me to think these must be very new employees, lol. They may also be understaffed and overworked just like the rest of us. After weeks of the hours and work that is expected of us, even the world champion customer relations specialist would have moments of "brain-cramps". We are not supposed to just indiscriminately hand out the District Managers phone number, we are supposed to get your information and either call and give it to them or send an e-mail to them with it. My DM is one of the good ones, he actually responds. Hopefully, this group will treat you with respect and do the same. If not , try going to the company website and sending in your own comments. But please bear in mind while you are complaining because an item was in the wrong place, exactly what these employee have to deal with, day in and day out.The writing here on these pages, if you read anything while you were here, should ,perhaps, put a little more understanding and empathy in your heart. I am NOT saying that your problem should be trivialized, but , seriously, think about it. A little more kindness and consideration between beat-up employees and tired frazzled shoppers would go a long way. Again, I am sorry if you feel you were mislead/mistreated.
