I happen to think that the managers who were a part of the lawsuit for hours worked are a bunch of babies. NO one makes them take this job and no one makes them stay. I have never seen my manager or any manager in my district work more than the hours required to get the work done that needs to be done.

Michelle, in a way you are right that the managers take that job, BUT in 2006 they lost the case about how they work the Managers, (you need to look at the major lawsuit)I been there, some people need to get their heads out of the clouds that family dollar loves you or your DM or Regional is so good, i hope you dont see the ugly side.

I am sorry that you all work in these districts where the DM's treat you all this way. I am lucky enough to have a dm and a regional that don't treat you like a piece of dirt. I do want to comment about the managers hours. They choose to work for this company. NO one makes them stay. So if they have a problem with the hours, why do they do it? I often hear my manager say things like, You should work my schedule. 60 hours and only 1 day off. You know what I tell her? I am not the manager, you are. That is why I stay an assistant. I don't want to put in those hours.
