I faxed a cancellation request to faxmicro weeks before the April 05, 2006 due date. A second cancellation request was faxed on April 06, 2006. They never responded with a confirmation of cancellation.

On April 05,2006. They charged my old bank account that did not have sufficient funds ( I did not trust them with my new bank information ) Faxmicro sends a billing statement on April 18th for the April past charge and May due date.

I sent an e-mail to billing and support regarding the previous cancellation requests to faxmicro. Also, I faxed a third cancellation request to faxmicro on April 18th. On April 19th, I sent an e-mail to support asking if they recieved my cancellation request through fax.

They do offer fax services, am I correct?

They have yet to respond.

I will send a cancellation request and confirmation request to faxmicro on April 25 and 28. Also, I have submitted a bill payment for the April past due date. I want to test if they will honor my cancellation request.

If faxmicro continues to charge regardless of faxed cancellation requests, I will proceed with legal counsel.

It took me over a month to cancel with faxmicro. I blame myself for subscribing to their services and taking a passive approach towards cancelling my account. However, I cancelled in one week by imitating the people credit card delinquents ( I as well ) love to hate. To cancel service: 1. Be aggressive: Be the creditor 2. When e-mailing customer support, inform them that all documents are being stored for legal counsel. They do receive your e-mail. 3. Call billing and support for correct fax number to send cancellation request form. Send multiple cancellation request forms to the fax numbers they told you and printed on the cancellation request form ( On the same day and for same day effective cancellation ). 4. After you fax the cancellation request forms, e-mail customer support and tell them you have sent them a CRF. Call billing and tell them you want to close account and sent request form. 5. Do not call to confirm. They may deny that cancellation request forms have been received ( They did it to me ). Instead, ask for progress of cancellation and repeat that you want to cancel your fax number and all services related. 6. If billing or support denies receipt of cancellation request form, after faxing cancellation forms to numbers first instructed by them and on the form: - Talk with billing and tell them you faxed crfs to said numbers, request they block your card from being charged, tell them you want your account closed. If they give you a different number, fax the cancellation request form, call billing and repeat steps 4. 7. E-mail customer support at least twice a day to remind them of cancellation progress. 8. Once billing informs you that your card will be blocked from futher charge and cancellation will progress, ask for an e-mail confirmation of cancellation - Keep an eye on your statement. They may charge you even though they confirmed closing of account. - You may want to call your bank or credit card to block possible charges. - Allow at least two weeks to take action to cancel account with faxmicro. - Make sure your account is current. No late charges. Cancel at least two weeks before next charge. - Persist. You are welcomed to try your own method of persistence and aggressiveness. Be mature, non-threatening, and professional. However, persist with irritancy until cancellation has been confirmed through e- mail and no charges were further made. If you want, call your financial institution to block charges
