This company is nothing more than a scam and is a sinking ship.  Every aspect of it is shady.  The sales, the accounting and the handling of employees. Two days after I was hired I inquired from the Human Resources Manager, Donna, exactly what I was?  I was told that I was a 1099 worker.  I asked then how it was they could offer me health insurance.  I was told by Donna that they can offer 1099’s Health and the 401K, yet my contract states I get all other company benefits as well.

Still confused about my classification, I then went to James, the operations manager and since he was new he would have to get back to me.  Never did.  I then brought up the concern with a higher up of the company, Rose, and voiced my concern that if I was a 1099 why is she offering me employee benefits such as PTO, 2 Week Vacation, Sick Days, Holiday Pay, etc.?  I then stated that I would be more than happy to be a TRUE 1099.  She said she would look at the contract but, never got back to me.

I was not told I was a 1099 worker at any point of the hiring process.  I had to ask for clarification two days after my employment, which I never got.  Now, after being there for a month I realized that they do not want to pay their portion of my taxes but, yet wanted full control of me.  They never treated me as a 1099 worker.  I was deceived from the beginning. I was tricked. Everything in that contract states I am an employee given employee benefits. Nothing states that I am a 1099 contract worker.  I did not realize I had to read between the lines.

 

They also ripped me off on BOTH of my pay checks.  They have an extremely high employee turn over. They spend more time chastizing their workers than moving on to company growth.  They bring people to tears as they tear them down. The company is in the business of scammimg as you will see below the court docket from Oracle accusing them of stealing code and making false representations to their clients.  They scam their clients, their employees, and the IRS!  DO NOT WORK FOR THIS COMPANY! RUN! RUN! RUN!

Still Bogus baloney.  Everything in my statement is true and I have the support documents behind me.  Your contract is bogus.  Your rate of pay was bogus.  My contract states I was to make $17.25 an hour yet, my pay stubs show $15.00 an hour.  You, the HR person told me I was classified as a 1099 worker.  Just to let you know after filing the IRS SS-8 form,(feel free to look that one up) I received a letter from the IRS indicating that I am to be classified as a W-2 worker.  So, make sure you pay your portion of my taxes at the end of the year and make sure you send me a W-2 and not a 1099. In fact, you may want to take a good look at all of your employee mis-classifications.  The IRS has strict guidelines and steep penalties in regards to employee mis-classification. In regards to being a dis-gruntled employee, nope.  Just don't like being jacked around.  Did not like how people were treated there and your above statement is ALL bogus and you are just trying to cover your mistakes. This company is a scam company. RUN!

FBSC, is a Woman-Owned Small Business providing information technology products and services to the federal government, State & Local governments as well as commercial entities.

We understand that disgruntled, former employees use this site to express their frustration. However, as can be verified by the information provided below, this report is completely false and without merit.

FBSC provides each employee with the company’s Employee Handbook. Each new employee is required to read and sign the employee handbook during orientation and onboarding. FBSC’s employee handbook defines full, part-time and contract employment and benefits each classification receives. In addition, each employee is issued an employment contract which clearly states their employment status.

As with many businesses throughout the United States, litigation is often the avenue used with resolving corporate matters. FBSC have never been found to be at fault as a result of any litigation.

FBSC strives to create a positive work environment where employees can feel good about coming to work. We provide transparent and open communication, a work-life balance, training and development, as well as recognizing employees for hard work and achievement.
