I requested a sample flash light, weighing 4oz. from Hong Kong China. There was no charge from the manufactuer. If price was right, we would order 5000 units. The sample came in an envelope and FedEx charged me $69.06. What ever you do, please don't ship with these people. Got me once but never again!

There was no charge? For just the flashlight? If Fedex billed you, did you use a Fedex account number of your own? If so, how could you not know that that was standard air billing, similar to UPS? Or did the flashlight solicitor bill your credit card for what they say Fedex charges were, explaining the 'free' flashlight claim? Many companies use free or reduced purchase claims to suck daff individuals into shipping/handling fees. I just checked UPS - pretty much the same price as what you paid. If the company in Hong Kong is willing to pay to ship it to you, you could reimburse their costs. If they don't show up, however, too bad so sad as you'll have paid for nothing and have to take it up with that China wholesaler.

Nice going too, letting everyone know that you contribute to sending American dollars to China. It's becoming more and more frowned upon, as US dollars are paying for foreign jobs while unemployment in the USA is in double digits. And there is no way you would catch me risking my credit card information for any business dealings with China!
