I had a valve job at a chevy garage, 7 months later I had to have another one done. I told the warranty company they changed all 4 valves but only one gasket and only 1 seal. The work order said: Vehicle seems to have no compression from Cyl. #2 found that Cyl #4 had no compression needs tear down exhaust valves on Cyl #3 and 4 need to be replaced diagnsed and repalced exhaust valves Cyl #3 and 4. When I called the warrany company ( 1 of 5 times) I get getting different answers. Yes they replaced everything, no they did not, yes they did , no they did not.

One person told me if the 2nd garage would dispute it they could bring GM in. The next time no that is not true. All calls are recorded. On the TSB it states prior to 5B406012, replace all 8 exhaust valves, all 8 intake valves, and all 16 valve seals. This TSB 1.6L L91. They made me pay another $100 to have the second job done.

When I had the 2nd valve job done they stated Cust states the veh has had engine work recently for missfire and ses light..still has missfire but no ses light at this time (work not performed here) was diagnosed at other shop as valve seals, etc (bulletin # 050601030c) fws ext warranty. to replace all int. and ext. valves and valve seals caused by valves not seating properly. I asked Fidelity why they would not help me out, I said I paid for

this warranty and this garage did not do a proper job. I am sorry we already paid the bill and we only pay for what the garage orders.
