FILELATE.COM NO PHONE SUPPORT AS PROMISED, NO LIVE PERSON, NO RESOURCE FOR ERRORS, CHARGES FOR FORMS AVAILABLE FREE FROM IRS NY NY Internet
In my haste to file late taxes, I turned to the internet. The web page looked good there was a live person on chat. All looked good. The person on live chat and the webpage promises support by email from accountants with 10 years exprience.
I asked the chat person about changes as I had lost my w-2 and was not sure if Ihad them all and could I make a change after my initial submit. I was assured a manager would help me if there was any changes.
I have called non-stop for 2 days and there has not been anyone to answer the call. I have sent numerous emails none of which have been answered.
The person on live chat says all she/he can do is pass my info to a manager but she has no more authority than that.
They have charged my bank account I now have a tax return that is incorrect and unusable for 89.95.
They also offer to get missing w-2 or 1099 for you at a cost. This is information is available for FREE from the IRS. You only have to call and they will mail or fax you all missing forms FREE. It was tollfree and took about 10 minutes of being on hold but the IRS person was very helpful and immediately faxed all the info to me,
I would not use this site and now I am afraid that I have given sensitive information to an unscrupulous site that can't deliver what they promise and my information may not be secure.
BEWARE! FROM NOW ON I WILL CALL ANY SUPPORT NUMBERS TO INSURE THERE IS A PERSON BEHIND THE PROMISE!!
