If your looking for a job and you come across one that has GROUP interviews and tells you that you will be going to APPOINTMENTS to show consumers an "air filtration system" (Vacumm) RUN!!!!!
I worked for Country Air as an office coordinator. The "dealers" would get appointments by COLD CALLS placed straight out of the phonebook, offering people FREE gifts if they would have the dealer in their home to get their OPINION on an air filtration system. Once the DEALER was in the home they would PRESSURE SELL. The dealer was told my his/her office manager not to give up and leave but come back with reputals SELL SELL SELL.
Of course the dealer with the most sales would get the best customers ( married, own home and good credit). If you think you can sell a vacum for $2500.00 then go for it.
Now the buyers side. I worked in this office for a little over a year.......Just like most sales jobs PEOPLE lie.I would get calls from customers saying that they had a broken machine and that the DEALER said it has a lifetime warranty......well that just isnt totally true. I would have to tell these people to bring it in to the office (dealer told customers at time of sale that Country air would send a rep to their home to fix any problems) and then I would charge them for reapairs. (Im sorry)
I did have customers that loved their machines too. Just not to many. Dont waste your time on the interview if your not into SALES and remember no sale NO PAYCHECK!!!
