Finest touch automotive Auto body Scam!! Took a $1,000 cash deposit and fled out of town, no work was done to my car!! Bronx New York
hi my name is al and i am from ny, i just wanted to share my auto body fraud story with you. I droped off my honda on july 11,2002 to have a full custom paintjob with a body kit installed along with aftermarket fenders. I left a $1,000 cash deposit with a signed reciept. yesterday i passed by to check the progression on my car to find the body shop was open but something was weird.
I go up to the shop to hear a man was saying to go in and collect my stuff because the owner(the only man working in the shop)may not return. I couldn't believe what i was hearing... The owner packed his bags and left town.....with everyones money. People were trying to put their cars back together so they could drive it home. The shop was a mad house.
Guys looking for their doors, windows, bumpers, anything that belonged to them so they could leave with there stuff... there were at least 7 cars in the shop in pieces never mind the cars he had in a lot... which was were i found my car... i spoke to the lot worker and he said my car has been there since july 12,2002. SO its was there since i dropped it off, it was even touched.... thank god for that cause all my parts i gave him were in the car.... but he did take my 1,000 cash and i got nothing but a headace in return... i am trying to get a way to get my money back... but since i am a 20 college student i can't afford a lawyer..... i worked all summer to hand over a 1,000 to man who took my money and fled.....
