Firefly ,Carrboro, sells broken jewelry and has owner who is racist and homophobic Chapel Hill North Carolina
The owner is consistently overheard making racist comments towards non white/Asian customers, as well as treats men and women very differently. In addition, treats young LGBT youth very badly and makes bigoted comments whenever she feels nobody except the intended audience can hear her. Just so she knows: I heard her. Came back a few times to lurk and heard her again. I’m sure if I were to go back on the way to my Cafe again, I’d hear more of her nonsense. Very backwards business and business owner. Not to mention, the earrings I bought from her broke. Super.
