first off i should have known this company was fake. on my very first payment which was not even due yet. i called in to pay by phone. first off they told me that i have a late fee of 35dollars i said how payment is not due yet. they took that off but said it will be put back on because my payment may not post til after the 29th.of the month which is my payment due date. i said i am calling you now and allowing you to take it right out of my account and it may take ten days to post. thats nuts.

i paid my balance off totally. we then proceeded to use the card as normal. then my husband lost his job in september. now mind you i only had this account since february. I sent a payment of 71dollars which would put me back to my 300.dollar balance. the payment was sent on the fourth of oct. my october payment which is the 29th of the month according to them was late. so by oct. nineth i was sent to collection. see they received my payment with the note of my husband lost his job and when to expect the next payment of 120.00 on the fiftheenth. i then the same day i sent the 120.00 received the notice from allance one stating that i owe some 467.00 for what late fees and over limit fees i was not over the limit my 71.00 payment made it at my limit.

needless to say i contacted the occ and they point blank told me to get a lawyer. and this account can collect late and over fees til the cows come home. i am now at 1000.00 i owe and my math i owe 300. i have been paying 12.00 a month which should be my normal due. but because i did not pay the full balance they are charging a late and over limit fee of 70.00 per month plus 25.00 in intrest. the occ saw no wrong doing on the side of the bank. i did not know you can close and account when you report to them you are having a financial situation and sent in payments but according to the occ they felt threatened by the fact my husband lost his job that the sent me to collections.

i only had the card six months and i had more headaches for three hundred dollars on this then the freakin mortgage co. and i owe them a hell of alot more.

and that it stands. any of the paperwork that was sent by them to the occ which was in rebuttal for my testamoney was never on any fcnb letter head. always looked like it was just typed up. i even had a letter from them stating that as of the 24th of oct. i was sent to collection but when i called the collection co. (alliance one) they would not talk to me. they did tell me they received the account for colletion on the nineth of october. so the woman from fcnb lied and the occ has proof but, looked the other way.i also have the original collection letter dated the tenth of oct. and sent a copy to occ and they still said i was in the wrong. whos greasing their palms huh. my account with fcnb has been hell. we need a consumer fraud lawyer. please helllpppp!!!!! i tried to fight but where do i go from here if me the consumer who had undeniable proof against these people was told by the occ to get a lawyer they are in the right. fight them someother way cause theres no fraud here.
