First Gear Auto Dishonest ripoff sales people, not mechanics Santa Clara California
I brought my Honda to First Gear Auto because I was having trouble passing smog. They told me I needed a new engine and blamed me I was racing the engine. Just because I was young and had a Honda. They told me the engine was shot and that I needed a new one, which would cost about $3,000. I brought it to another shop and all that was needed was a new intake gasket. The cost was only $400 as opposed to the $3,000 First Gear Auto estimated. This can only mean two things, either these guys are out to rip you off or they really don't know too much about cars.
