First National Bank - Legacy Visa Card They are ripping off on returned check fees, their site doesn't work and charges you when you pay online Sioux Falls South Dakota
I have 4 credit cards.
-capital one
-orchard bank
-first premier bank centennial visa
and -first national bank legacy visa
I make all my payments online and have never had a problem entering wrong information or accidentally debiting my account for more than I have (bouncing checks with online payment) (im not an idiot). I know how to enter a routing number and a account number in the boxes and press submit.
First National is ripping off people by charging a 29 dollar returned check fee and then jumbling up your account number after you enter it. the second time it happened to me i looked back and fourth at the number THREE times to make sure it was right!!! it was exactly correct. When i got another returned check fee 5 days later i knew something was wrong with their site! I think they're doing this on purpose to make money off people paying online.
I eventually contacted someone and asked them to remove the returned check fees ... they removed one of them and told me sir it's a one time courtesey. Is anyone else having this problem with them because they said, sir it's not our website we take millions of payments a day and they always work.
when you click checking it automatically fills out the last entered numbers for your account that you put in during your last payment. I checked thesse numbers on the website and they were correct. The girl told me over the phone.. ohh sir you entered xxxxxxxxx4 not xxxxxxxxx7 for my account number and she's a dirty liar! I hope this company get caught and i am canceling my card as soon as i can afford to pay it all off after 4 returned check fees, a late payment and the interest on all of that!!
p.s. I read two other ripoffreports on this card and they weren't true. they both were claiming that they got charged like 175 for a account opening fee. either first national rectiftied this problem or whatever cause i was charged a low 42 dollar fee and that's it! I did have problems computing my actual available credit.. and it's because the pending payments don't show up on the webpage!!!
I was really heated i thought they stole 20 dollars in interest when interest is only 4 dollars a month on a 300 dollar limit card. because it's %apr / 12 (monthly installments in an anual percentage rate) then times that ammount with your balance and that's how much interest they'll charge that month.
