This is by far the worst company to deal with. They are rude, unprofessional and all they are out for is to take your money.

I found this comany when I was researching moving companies to move my things from Texas to Illinois. I spoke to Mike a few times and he tricked me to thinking this was a "Great company". I went over a complete list of all the items I had to be moved so I could b=get an accurate quote.

I flew to San Antonio the day before the move so I could be there on time. I flew in on Wednesday. Thursday morning I get a call 30 minutes before the truck was to arrive. I am then told the truck would not be there as the truck's stickers were out of date. He then rescheduled for the next day, Friday. We are to meet Friday at !0:00 am and they truck arrive 45 minutes late. I have a flight later on Friday and I ask the guys how long it will take to load the truck. They tell me 60-90 minutes. Three and a half hours later and they finally finish loading my things. Right now I have 15 minutes to get my car rental back before i am to be charged an extra day. i am now told that the cubic footage is much higher and I will be charged an extra $600 for the move. I was originall quoted $1035, my final bill totaled $1794.42.

I get a call the next week from the dispater to infor me my things were on the way. I then let him know that the amount I was quoted and the extra charges were way too much. I then tell the dispater that I could have moved this myself for less. The dispater then says "next time do not use us, in fact I insist you never use us again". I hang up shorty after.

I make several calls to try and negotiate a lower price and they refuse to call me back. Finally after 2 weeks I get a call saying my stuff is on its way. Just over 30 days and "MOST" of my things arrive. They begin unloading the items and I notice quite a few items with damages. Both my couches have scratches and one has a tear, a lamp has big scratches all over. My 2 end tables have scraches on the legs, chips on the top and dings on the corners. In addition, i am also missing my coffee table, a lamp and 2 lamp shades.

I just got off the phone with First Priority Movers and Jacob refused to give me his insurance information. It took quite a bit of teeth pulling, but I did manage to get this information from him. He then tells me that as soon as I send in the claim, he will deny it.

I spoke to his broker and she told me Jacob asked her not to file this claim. This company is bad news on so many levels. I am pretty sure Jacob was asking his broker to do somthing illegal. She did tell me that she has to file this claim and she would not abide by his request.

First Priority Movers, please call me if you would like to settle this before this goes any further. I am more than willing to do what I need to do to make you understand you can not treat people like this.

I am a consumer with many of the same exact experiences.  In fact our stories are almost identical! I want to take legal action as well and am willing to support your claims.  How can we contact each other for legal support?

Today is Sunday September 4, I just got a call from Jacob from First Priority Movers. He tells me that right now he will be nice. He says I have until Tuesday to remove this review or First Priority will file a lawsuit against me for Slander. After Tuesday they will not be nice.

Slander is if I am making false statements. I know it may be hard to believe, but this whole story is true and accurate.
