First Warranty Group Of Florida Not responding to voicemails left by repair shop on 3/20/09. On 3/23/09 the phone just rings and rings. Huntersville North Carolina
We purchase an extended "bumper to bumper" warranty from First Warranty Group of Florida on 10/07/05 for our son's car. Now that it needs the heads repaired we can't get anyone to answer the phone. We can't go to the car dealer because that business is now closed.
After leaving messages on voice mail and not getting a response and then calling again on the following business day I began to suspect we were screwed out of the $1422 we paid at the time of purchase. I started looking on line and the company came up on this site. I checked the BBB for Florida and North Carolina and came up with nothing. The company isn't listed in the yellow or white pages either.
According to a newspaper article I found on line the company has surrendered their Florida license to sell warranties, but would honor all contracts until they expire, YA Right!!!
