FiveStarQuotes, FiveStarQuotes - Scot Bradley - Al Baker MULTIPLE UNAUTHORIZED CHARGES - Dupe leads - Will not return phone calls or our credit balance. Mahwah New Jersey
This past June I purchased health leads from FiveStarQuotes in the amount of $350.00 to test the waters and see how good the leads were. I told Al Baker, the representative who signed me up that I only wanted to spend the $350.00. When I contacted the leads, a few of them told me they had already been contacted by another Agent. Shortly thereafter, I was called by a friend to tell me that not only my name popped up, but a competing Health Agent's name came up at the same time on a request for a health quote.
I called Al Baker and told him I did not want any more leads. My credit card was subsequently charged twice. We have disputed the charges through American Express which I am still fighting. My account at FiveStarQuotes is sitting with a credit balance which I have requested be returned to me. I was contacted by FiveStarQuotes customer service via email stating that they were reviewing my request and would get back with me shortly. Scott Bradley (Controller) of the company spoke with my husband this morning and told him our money would be returned. Now their phones have been disconnected.
This company is a scam. They get your credit card number and charge you multiple times for bad leads. STAY AWAY.
