Flat Rate Movers LLC No idea how to operate a business Doraville, Georgia
These people are either intentional scam artists or the least competent individuals to ever operate a business. They certainly use bait-and-switch tactics, promising you a lot of things through their customer service department (which I think consists of one person who will never call you back once they've got you reeled in), and then not delivering on most things that were promised. I was told my move would take 4 days, paid everything they asked me to, and did everything required by the contract. I was depending on them because I was leaving the country in three weeks and needed everything set up in my apartment before then. It took them 20 days to deliver my possessions. I spent hundreds of dollars on a new passport and visa so I could leave on my trip because I thought they had stolen all of my possessions. When they finally arrived they wanted to charge me more than they said they would, but then the movers told me said they would take a bribe instead. They also broke a few of my things and then hid them behind other furniture hoping I wouldn't notice. If you use this company I guarantee you will: 1) Not have your things delivered on time, 2) Pay a different price than you were told you were going to pay, 3) Rarely have anyone respond to your phone calls and never again get to talk to customer service, 4) Be completely stressed out the entire time. It is a shame that people like this are allowed to be in business.
