I bought a high-end car through ebay from Flemings Ultimate Garage. First the claims of the car's condition and the history including "documented original miles" was completely false. The entire drive train was stated to be the original and rebuilt. Only the engine block and rearend were original to the car. The original and desirable heads were replaced with low level replacements. The transmisssion was not original and not rebuilt anytime recently. The entire underbody was crudly painted black to hide all the rust. They even painted the exhaust pipes silver.
Inspite of their claim, they had no documentation of original mileage. In fact the owners manual reflected twice Flemings stated miles back in 1970. The car's body and paint were so poorly done that it needs to be completely stripped and redone just to get the value of the car back. Watch out for the phraze "show shine", it was shiny but no where near show quality.
Finally, they cheated eBay by completing the entire transaction off line and not reporting the sale on-line. Don't trust anything they claim. There are the worst kind of used car sales people with no care for your satisfaction.
